I appreciate his style of left hand comping that keeps the listener engaged with the changes

Yes it was a super musical drum solo and rhythmic and not just shredding and showing off for the sake of showing off ....loved it!😀😀

Dang, the whole band is absolutely cooking here. I feel like I heard some Eldar influence in the piano solo, and I mean that as the highest of compliments! There was so much packed into one of the most common standards here, it was such a great performance. Thanks guys!

Eldar is younger than Taylor!

I was literally thinking “I wonder if Eldar studied with Taylor” when I read this comment.

@@Geecent Have you ever been musically influenced by someone younger than you? I sure have! Cheers

@@brian106699 Indeed, who knows? Either way, massive talents on both of their parts.

It's not Eldar you're really hearing, it's Oscar Peterson. Both clearly very influenced by him, especially in their single note phrasing.

This is outrageously good. I've been listening to it multiple times a day for about a month. The group is so in sync with each other.

Such a beautiful solo by Jimmy - so dynamic and free. Despite being a drummer, it's rare for me to find myself saying that about drum solos, so bravo 👏 Whole band is killing too

Yes it was musical as opposed to just showing off chops.... the most impressive drum solo I've heard in years

not seeing enough appreciation for the bassist in these comments, that walking bass solo in the beginning has some really awesome and complex lines in it
