I have to say, out of all the singers, when he struck the lower notes, it really did sound like a church organ. Perfect "metal" sound an Antonio Pappano refers to it as.

Always been in amazement hearing singers like Ort, the two Millers, and Zlatopolsky, who can/could acoustically sing with a choir below A1. I have always gotten sideways looks for my extremely low speaking voice and can easily hit bass notes below A1... but only the latter on-mic. A1 is my projection limit singing with a choir - can do a G1 during quieter sections, but that's my absolute limit off-mic. A D1 in that setting is unthinkable for me to accomplish in chest; even on-mic, in reality.

Its kind of sad that we will never reach their greatness no matter how much we try.

@@BangYongguk-sf8ly, I actually got some singing advice from Vladimir Miller after commenting on one of his videos. It was in Russian, so I had to translate it. He just told me to relax and it would come. In my head, I was like, "Sure, Mr. Miller, I will just relax and belt out an E1 the way you do," lol. Seriously, though, it made my day a legend took the time to reply to little old me.

I also commented on his video that his voice is awsome and he replied thank you. A pretty nice guy. But your voice is still awsome, being able to hit a G1 and low. I bottom out at E2 🤣

7:01 Wasn't Sergey Kochetov in that oktavist section, too?
@danielphendarko26513 жыл бұрын
I don't think so, the description says that there's only Alexander Ort, Andrey Kurilov, Mikhail Kruglov, and Vladimir Miller

@@danielphendarko2651 I thought there were five oktavists.
