He's both. Born and raised by Russian parents, he is more Russian than Norwegian, but he is THE BEST choice Norway could ever make to sent to Moscow. Exceptional talent!

He moved to Norway when he was 4 or 5 years old. And he will turn 23 years in May, so he has been living in Norway for almost 20 years. He and his parents have norwegian passports. So he IS norwegian, just had his first few years in Belarus. They have never been back, so I believe he is much more norwegian than russian :)

Oh, I see.. Well, he's really good. This is the first time I've really LIKED an eurovision song ;P.. I usually hate eurovision and thing it's a disgrace to the musicworld, but Alexander's song is actually VERY good =D!! I feel lucky we have him to represent our country this year! Go Norway!!!!
