Alexander's arny became very weak after the battle of hydaspes..even his own army denied to fight against dhanananda that's why he had to return... And porus's son killed Alexander's favourite horse buccaphalas with one blow and wounded Alexander badly..so it was not possible for him to conquer India at that time
