its possible but unlikely. For most of the last fight volkanski was just surviving. His success was only in the final 2 minutes. So unless his technique improved dramatically or he gets some crazy knockout, I dont think the outcome of this fight will change from the last one. If you analyze their styles, its just unlikely for volk to win tomrrow but who knows. Hopefully an upset.

Absolutely love this guy, to be honest I was, and still am a huge Max Hollway fan and I was one of those who believed Max won 1 of those fights, but Volks improvement has been outrageous and I now think he is the P4P No1, After Max destroyed Kattar I thought he could beat Volk but Volk dominated Max, a true legend of the sport and another in the P4P rankings, the way he got out of those submissions v Ortega was incredible and then his ground and pound was scary, Ortega was a mess at the end and the class levels v Zombie & Yair was so evident. I didnt think he could have a chance against Islam but he shocked him, I hope he can win but I think Islam maybe underestimated him due to his size, and with home advantage, Khabib back and the short notice part means I think Islam wins. But it will be close again and I disagree this is his last LW title shot, he'll go back down and defend against Topuria and maybe another 1 or 2 then I think he'll come back up with Islam then at WW he could win LW against really anyone else. I agree with you, but remember, both of these guys are at the top of their game. Volk really digs into studying this stuff, and they're both about equally strong, no matter what anyone says about hydration.( One's a wrestler from Dagestan, the other runs a gym in Thailand 😉) . The tricky part for Volk is that Islam has some serious wrestling skills and is really good on the feet. But for Islam, he's got to deal with Volk being super strong and able to go five rounds easily, even with him. I bet the most nervous Volk's ever been in a fight was the one with Yair, but look how that turned out! My point is that this could be the best fight ever..:)
