Zverev deserved that tonight. In the middle of the third set he was at 85% on first serves which is an insane stat. He didn't really give Alcaraz a chance to get into the match for a long time. Gonna be a great match against Medvedev, two competitive semi finals to look forward to.

Yes, but Alcaraz played really bad (many unforced errors, bad first serves, ...)
@carrauntoohil86
@carrauntoohil86 5 ай бұрын
@@castorix31both things are true, but Zverev put Alcaraz under big pressure those first two sets so he probably forced the errors. Maybe Alcaraz should have tried to stay in the rallies a little longer rather than going for too many winners, but in all honesty Zverev didn't let him get a look at a second serve for nearly 3 sets.

Unfortunately, he was chocked at 5-2 on 3rd set but ended up 6-7. Fortunately, he didn't disappoint me on 4th set. Anyway, thanks from djokovic cuz zverev has helped djokovic extend his world no. 1 while alcaraz can't take over djokovic's spot cuz it's been alcaraz's turn to defend so many points until french open 2024

@AD-nq2nz
@AD-nq2nz 5 ай бұрын
@@thabangaugustinehlalele What a terrible take. Palestine has nothing to do with the AO so why would the AO media include it in one of their interviews? Grow up.

@@AD-nq2nz the chant free Palestine is not a discriminatory slur. It is a phrase used to show solidarity with oppressed people of Palestine. So your little analogy is flawed. Palestine has little to do with a lot of things. In case it flew over your head they live under apartheid and blockade. My comment yes reference Palestine but that is just an inside incident the crust of the matter is free speech. Which when convenient the western society will champion but when it is not, the very western society will remind people no right is absolutely. As your unfortunate comment proves.😉

So happy for Zverev! He played so well for 3 sets until the 5-3 in the 3set, he should have won in 3 sets. If he plays like he played until his serve got broken he can win Australian Open. Carlos is amazing but people they have to calm down because he doesn't have a great serve and leaves him vulnerable against players like Zverev or Medved. Right now Sinner is a better plater and problem solver than Carlos who play with his heart and not much with his head.

Plus, Carlos’ coach was missing. That’s the only way he wins is to look at his box and get advice from Ferrer. If he played before coaching was allowed, he wouldn’t be as successful as he is because he’d have to figure things out himself. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Don't get me wrong I've got nothing against Zverev but he was within an inch of winning that set and match but crumbled so spectacularly he almost lost the match the same thing happened at the US open final and he lost that match

What did the crowd member say between the first question and answer? It's been edited out in this video. My guess it was some comment about him probably being an abuser, but I wanna hear what was said lol
