Why would they use chainstitch vs. lockstitch on a clothing machine? I always heard that chainstitch pulls out.

that for strech fabric, you can use chainstitches on this machine.

I don't have that specific of information. Typically those letter specify different combinations or packages to meet customer needs. things like needle guage, width of stitch, feed dog tooth aggression etc.
