Are you still reading your comments, because I'm having an issue with my juki 1541....run in reverse when trying to stitch...the runs forward when I try to put in reverse. Happened out of the blue! It's brand new!

Do you have a need for the clutch motor? I replaced mine with a servo, and can't decide whether not to keep the original motor. But I also don't want to just throw it away.

My “Dealer” 😂😂😂 has a Juki LU 2210N (not the 7) that he’s about to refurbish. I do mostly bags using sailcloth and am heading towards vinyls and leathers. I also make and repair sail and blade bags. I can’t find much info on the machine. Any info I should be aware of before I make a decision?

We use a Consew for aircrew flight uniform repairs and we call it the Death Machine. Will look into a servo for those fine precision patches.

I have a brushless servo motor on my cylinder bed machine and it is perfect for me as it can stitch very slowly yet it has great power for the leathers I use. I added a needle position sensor to it and I like this feature as well. My skiver has a clutch motor and with the addition of a speed reducer it does what I need it to do. Different horses for different courses!

I have a 134 that appears to be somewhat different. The logo, color and pullies are similar, but appear original. The color is black and despite being in excellent operating condition, it is very well used. Paint is worn off in high contact areas. Guessing this was originally long used in an industrial setting, before reaching the home market.

Using a durable womens purse is much easier. Only thing I would suggest is spray painting the whole thing, and could put your name on it if your worried about tools coming up missing
