After you transitioned to a different type of content I was a bit wary but eventually liked it even more, as I found it much more relatable. I'd also like to take the opportunity to ask for a bit of your advice with a personal situation of mine. I'll try to be brief. I am a 32yo average joe that has a good, stable job. I am polite, moderately shy, smart individual who can at times transmit a certain degree of confidence (maybe not as much as I'd like). Dated an amazing girl (26) for about 3 months (really only went out on 6 dates maybe). Our relationship progressed to the level of being comfortable to make out and cuddle together (flag?) for hours. Unfortunately, she never actually accepted us being boyfriends as she "needed to keep going out to try and find the chemistry". This was something that I really didn't understand, as she mentioned several times that she liked me on paper, but was having trouble finding that spark she always found in her past relationships. If I had to make a guess, it would be that I was/am really bad at opening up and making women feel a wider range of emotions, including a bit more of physical "passion". I don't consider myself the bad boy type and, from what I gather from her past relationships, that's something that she is def looking for (as it matches her warm, touchy feely personality). Ok, I am a woman, but please hear me out here. :) I don't think that having a mercantile "what can he do for me?" view of men is something age-related as much as it is mindset-related. The kind of woman who views a man as only a wallet and some sperm in her thirties has most likely viewed men as just wallets in her twenties, too (except that at the time, she didn't need the sperm). Sure, having babies becomes more important with age for, well, all normal women. But if a woman is the type who understands that a genuine connection in a long-term relationship is far more valuable and desirable than pure mercantile interest, she is not likely to suddenly change her stance ten years down the road. And if she quotes bad experiences with men as a reason for becoming a mercantile b... witch, she is probably not being entirely honest, either with you or with herself. Again.. it's a mindset and an upbringing thing. As for why women stop going for "bad boys" as they age is that they learn to distinguish between arrogance and confidence. The crack-smokin', class-skippin', motorcycle-ridin' rough-around-the-edges "bad boy" they thought was cool in high school is simply not long-term relationship material. But at this time, most girls are not mature enough to look past their own fantasies. They don't really fall in love with such a guy for who he really is, as with the picture of him that they paint in their heads. "He is a jerk to everyone around him, and to all the other girls he's dated, but he will be different with _me"_ is a bubble that bursts very quickly. :) But the realities of 30-year olds are different. The desirable man is not some beta doormat. But he is not the typical masking-insecurities-with-arrogance college "bad boy", either. Instead, he is confident, intelligent, mature, collected and stoic. Someone who had time to work on himself. He can go through with achieving his goals, and commands respect from those around him. Aggressive when necessary, but also reliable, rational and, when necessary, gentle. Someone with a lot of control over his own life. Someone whom a woman can trust with leadership and decision-making. 20-year-old girls are also subconsciously looking for these traits, too, but they are usually not experienced enough to discern a young man with potential from a future meth head 😜 Yet older women, if they have a brain, learn to see what's really in front of them, rather than looking at the world through rosy-tinted glasses. That doesn't mean that they view all men as trash or something. "Men are trash" is NOT a mindset of a mature and intelligent woman.

You made some decent points, but ultimatley miss your message is lame & sterile as you are an older(probably middle aged who hasn't taken care of herself) woman on her way out regarding these matters. It'd be best if you channel all you have to offer towards teen girls & young women instead of at us. Cuz men in their 30s, 40s & even older middle aged to retired elder gentlemen(max generally is 70) who have put in the work, have taken care of themselves, have come to understand themselves, genuinely love life, etc....will ultimately get with WHO EVER THEY WANT. Only a rather small minority of women in our respective W.E.I.R.D. societies are comparable.

I have one concern in all of this. This day and age the 20 year old isnt thinking long term at all. Sure she wants to connect with somebody but many women are quite superficial with regards to what they mean by "connection." The issue is the 20 year old doesnt realize that shes going to change her strategy when she turns 30 so she doesnt plan for it.

Interesting thought: Perhaps we have been conditioned to too much doses of romance that anything less is perceived to be non-romantic, insincere, or whatever adjective you put here. Perhaps when we become less conditioned to romantic ideals and lower our expectations to a more 'historically consistent' normal, maybe we won't have too much issues. I date a wide age range. The thing that separates the early 20s girls from early 30s girls absolutely is their ability to love. Yes it happens. I would say that during the dead time, I’ve learned to love in a different way, like before you had sex for the first time. I think that by the time a woman is in her 30s she's received too many anti male messages and had too many partners to care for a man or how her actions might hurt one. He should start with, "You've clearly made a decision to take the love out of our marriage. As you are broken, defective, and no longer capable of providing intimacy, I'll need to find someone who can. I'll stay fir the baby, but I need to spend time with someone who can can show me love." I doubt that your friend can do it. I understand that. I went through a marriage that was shitty for other reasons. She's probably giving him occasional crumbs of hope, if he'll only do this or that. This is why it is *extremely important* to be perceptive of your surroundings. Ex. Having the ability to be aware of what people want from you, like what women want from you within a relationship, can allow you to navigate a minefield of potential relationship danger. 7:46. 59 year old Australian lawyer here. My experience is that the older woman does not abandon the strategy. They still act like they are the prize. The only difference is that the mature woman is concerned about her impending retirement, and wants a man as her financial plan. Amusingly, notwithstanding the generally low savings/superannuation levels of mature women and their cratering SMV they still won't settle for less than they believe they deserve. They still think what they are bringing to the table is of the same value as what they had when they were in their twenties. I recommend a binding financial agreement to all men who are thinking about partnering up.

A guy at my work is in his 40s and is married with two children . His youngest is about 10 years old and he told me he had not slept or had sex with his wife for those 10 years since the second child was born . Apparently she blames him for not earning more money ( even though they own 5 properties ) . I’ve given all my advice but he simply won’t leave because he says he will financially lose everything and also be cut off from his children . It’s sad because he says once the children are asleep he goes out and sits in the garage alone or just wonders the streets.

A 40-yr-old female client invited me over for apple pie and ice cream and coffee a few years ago when I was 46. We are both doctors of one sort or another, and we had a fun 5-hour conversation in her kitchen, then she completely ghosted me, despite telling me at the end of our talk that she hadn't had that long of a conversation in years. I had briefly mentioned my lifelong desire to not have children during those 5 hrs. About 6 months later she was visibly pregnant. For me, 25F, It is most important to be with a man that I can have a fulfilling partnership with. I don't want to have children with the wrong person. When I have children, I want to raise them as a family unit. Being a single mom is my worst nightmare. It bad for kids to grow up without the influence of both parents in their daily lives. So to hastily settle down & have kids with someone whom I am not compatible with would be like setting myself up for failure, & future divorce. Of course I am going to gauge his ability to provide a stable home & financial means, because if at all possible I would like to be a stay at home mom until my child is old enough to go to school. I want to spend time raising my own child instead of having a stranger at a daycare do it. I figure that my biological clock has not yet set off the alarm for running out of time. I generally agree with you. But 20 years old women are also not so good, for a guy who 32 years old. Why? Because it's not all about the love she gives you. It's not just about her sex appeal. It's also about her "ability" to see the real you. Yes, a 20 year old girl might really want to see you for who you are, but can they? When you are so much more complicated, and experienced as a guy? What I love about older women is that, they are much more clever, experienced and grounded. Generally. Also, when your ages are closer, you'll have same kind of issues regarding age (more or less). They wanna have fun and date someone "cute" ... Their relationships are more based on superficial, physical attraction.... In the same way that a young girl, would take a 100k loan to study some bullshit degree that won't generate any jobs, she would date a good for nothing just because he's "cute" Older women, are usually more calculative and they would think of you as a long term partner, they know themselves better and recognize what their streghts and weaknesses are and would think about someone that will make a better fit. It is in fact women who marry in their late 20's and early 30's the ones who have the lowest rate of divorce, and despite of miniscule increase of complications during pregnancy, their children tend to have lower poverty rate, higher rates of education and lower chances of having issues with the law... Simply because they are born to more financially and psychologically stable women and are less likely to have divorced parent's. It's not a coincidence that most middle and upper class women tend to have children around this age. To be honest I think that this video was made for this group of guys trying to convince themselves that they're really not superficial and that they are looking for something other than just looks and fertility. Young chicks are dumb AF for the most part, and aside from their biological advantages generally speaking there is not other upside from dating them. These guys should just own up to the fact that they just look for looks and fertility, rather than trying to lie to themselves and others that they're looking for something else. I think it quite genuine that many guys want to feel actually loved for who they are, not just for their resources. This, I think, is something many men suspect is easier to get from young women, as they are less experienced and more likely to give in to their emotions (love included) than the older ones. Don't think it's quite true that these men just want looks and fertility, as men are often attracted to older women as well. Looks, of course, also play a factor, but it's not all, and even if the guys are wrong about being more likely to get love from younger women, their motivation might well be genuine.

That "fall in love with thing", the 'passion era' ends a LOT sooner than their 30s. Most gals only have that in their teens. Even at their 20s the whole thing already starts to be about all kinds of shallow and usually very faulty calculations and scheming. Even classical authors wrote about this, read how Gogol describes in "Dead souls" that the worst thing that can happen to a girl is becoming a (scheming) woman, and that monologue isn't about a woman approaching her 30s... and he is 100% spot on as always. I also don"t think they "desire to have a baby", that's BS. They fear poverty, and they think a baby is one of the surest safeguards. I was living in non-capitalist country for first 20 years of my life. We haven't most of these dating etc problems and if, then in much less extent. After counter-revolutions at the end of eighties, it started be the same here and sometimes even worse. In Northern/Western Europe, there is a less pressure for man to be a "provider", women are pretty sure they can provide themselves including little crying problem. Not every woman wants a baby. Stop with that especially if the man acts like sum up of 5 kids forget having children cause won't get no help from him. I've never had urge to have a baby, not all women are the same. I'd rather go for 30 year old man than 20 something. 20 something boring as hell verses 30 something.

Strongly disagree. There is nothing more irresponsible and immature than a 20 year old girl. Their main interests are clubbing and getting laid by some bad boy, exploring their bisexuality with another girl or being on Girls Gone Wild. By the time they'er 30 or 40 more of them have learned their lesson and made their dumb party girl mistakes and hopefully learned something about life. That actually applies to both sexes.

Slightly hypocritical here as you point out that a woman in her thirties may be thinking more rationally rather than emotionally when deciding to chose a partner..being too emotional and irrational is generally what younger women are criticised for. I get that a woman who is more mature in age may have less ability to be emotionally involved but this can also be a good thing. I think in general your channel and others like it do provide good information and yours is more rational and searching for that middle ground than most. However you can overanalyze and over think things until you find yourself in a state of inertia. Everyone at some level is in a relationship because they are getting something out of it that they want and need. There is a certain level of selfishness present in all human relationships. No one should be a martyr for their needs and desires. If you are this is where you can be easily manipulated or taken advantage of. You have to take risks at some stage in your life. You have to put your trust in others despite them being imperfect, like you are imperfect. You have to have the courage to know what you want and be clear about those things. If you concentrate too much on playing out all the ways that things could go wrong then you will never do anything. Be aware yes, but also follow your feelings as well as your head. Just because relationships have a chance of not working out for whatever reason is not really a justifiable reason not to get into one.

My intuition is that it's more difficult to keep a younger woman because she will want to explore and not settle down too early and that she will demand more kicks from you compared too an older woman who would be more content with a reasonably good relationship.

That's why living in a country where they don't automatically get 50%, or big alimonies and where prenuptuals actually count - is a great place to start from. Economic realism and sense of the man's worth keep their fantasies (entitlement, fantasy ideals, ideology etc.) in check. It's very difficult to date a younger girl, the intellectual stimulus and experience is simply missing. I prefer older women who don't want children - that is key. Once this is off the table, older women are vastly more pleasant than younger women to be around.

From THIS perspective, the point made makes sense. Except for ONE detail not mentioned. If I'm an older man, let's say 30-plus, a 20-year-old is not typically going to be as interesting as a 30-year-old woman. Beyond a woman motivation to have a baby, a 30-year-old woman is going to be more interesting to me. A 20-year-old woman is going to bore me to tears. I won't have anything of any significance to say to her.

Alexander young beautiful women become 30 year old's as well and they also eventually stop loving their husbands. But men do the same thing, love is temporary. It's a trick nature plays on all of us so we can have kids, get married etc. But when the novelty wears out, men and women fall out of love and stop having sex. It's depressing, but loyalty is not forever and marrying a 20 year old naive girl won't change that.
