Soloing the final boss of the Catacombs, the most infamous boss of them all, The Devourer, as an ice. This is the real deal! This was a tricky challenge, but once you get past that first phase, you're in the clear. Just gotta sustain through it and even you can do it.

What’s the reason behind not going first in the fight?

Satyr with sanctuary heals me for almost 7k, nearly 70% of my max HP. Going second lets the mobs hit me and use up their pips, and I heal back nearly everything at the end of that turn and can focus on other things the following turn since their pip counts are then low. On top of that, I can heal at the end of my turn before I got devoured the 2nd time since the cheat occurs at the end of the round; That way, when my turn comes back, and I take the damage from the cheat, I don't have to worry about all the damage I took prior as I already healed up.
