Starting out wintertusk was terrible for me as an ice. Lots of the minions are ice so you’d need mass prism to be able to do sufficient damage to them, and the health drastically increasing from 800 in Dragonspyre to more than twice that at 1,900 damage. That’s on top of all of them being ice. Coming from Dragonspyre that was one of the toughest parts to solo because no good lvl 50 gear to increase damage to keep up.

As someone who soloed myth and used minions a few times I wanna say a few things. During the early game, using the living puppet minion is so useful because it required no pips and you had someone else to do some damage. Since you don’t need any fancy traps during the early game it helps a lot, not to mention since they attack every round, enemies will focus on them leaving you unharmed for the most part.

As someone who has soloed balance, you can get through most of the third arc with nested fury even with the new shadow pip system. So I think it improves ( like Ice) around level 100-110. Second arc particularly level 70-100 might be the toughest to solo of any school just for lack of damage ( I actually needed some Tartarus gear.) With the exception of a few cheating bosses in Karamelle, 4th arc hasn't been too bad ( haven't done Lemuria yet.)

I disagree. Balance has high health and heals allowing for easy survivability through the first arc. For average to good players, Balance has decent damage and their sandstorms are an easy way to solo through enemies until Celestia. As a player who has had each school at some point or another, I agree. I often refer to Storms as the glass cannons of the spiral because until you know what you're doing it is so freaking hard to stay alive. When I first created my storm (after having mained a Balance of all things) it took me about a week to work out the kinks. To handle accuracy troubles in early game, I used the sun school accuracy tcs that I bought on my main and added those to my spells. Other than that, it's like you said. deck set up is key. I generally, unless I'm looking to go after a big health boss, will only have 10-20 cards in my deck at any given time, as well as a reshuffle or two, depending on how worried I am by the wiki page I read. I'm sure there would be other things I could be doing to improve, but I find soloing pretty easy for the most part. Just get used to cringing and squeaking "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die!" I also feel I should mention I don't gear farm. I just shop in the Bazaar every five levels or so to see if anything has better stats than what I currently have. If I find something, I buy it, but that's it.

I learned Death is the best to solo. I realized first when it came to the 4 ravens in Grizzleheim. Basically, blade, blade & scarecrow. Being able to heal when you damage is great. I've soloed Tarsus many times. And had defeated the 4 Morganthes. I'm usually the player that does not die, while my friends port in and out after they are killed. I highly recommend choosing death as your first wizard. You learn the game better. Then go on to harder schools.

My very first school I ever chose was death, and let me tell you, in the early stages of the game, trying to play death school while also being a literal child, it was ROUGH. Now, however, I have no doubt in my mind that my child brain chose correctly, because death is absolutely THE MOST solid school in the whole game. Everything has their perks - storm has dmg, life has healing, etc, but death has ALL OF THEM combined. If played right, you can be seriously badass as a death character

I've never found soloing to be particularly difficult on any school, but you can grade them differently for different situations. Some of these being: how quickly they can solo quest the entire game, how well they perform in soloing difficult dungeons, and how easy they are for beginners. Now in my experience, death comes out on top in all 3 of those categories, however some schools have WAY bigger differences between the categories. For example, storm is around the middle of the pack for beginners, one of the best for speed questing, and dead last for difficult dungeons. The almost complete opposite of storm being balance, really hard for beginners, and pretty bad for speed questing, but much better for difficult dungeons, due to their much higher health, resist and healing capability.

arc 4 ranking: 1. death - would you be surprised? 2. life - rises up so much, because surviving is more difficult in arc 4 than in arc 3 (that's why subsequent schools drop in positions) 3. ice - rises back up, because again, in arc 4, the focus becomes surviving before u can kill, not just killing rapidly 4. balance - the only fights in arc 4 u can't reliably solo are gobbsmack, aberrant and the (spoiler-less) lemuria end fight 5. fire - u could try still playing aggro, since u have more hp than storm, but since your resist can be as low as 27%, u need to be super careful 6. myth - myth isn't that bad, unlike what this ranking might show, but your aoes do drop off in power compared to fire and storm to an extent 7. storm - the sad thing is that it no longer matters how skilled of a player u are, bosses now have much more utility cards (weaknesses, shields, stuns, beguile, etc) to slow u down enough that they can sometimes win before u can even get a hit off

the only thing I disagree with is what you said about ice soloing late game vs early game. On my ice account I had really no problem soloing most worlds with the exceptions being the final bosses, and didn't really have to start thinking about damage until around level 100. That being said, I think ice is extremely dependent on the player themselves and much less the school. I think people often underestimate ice's hitting ability, as ice is a fairly strong hitting school under the right circumstances. I think the only full worlds I really struggled on are Celestia and Dragonspyre, and that was just due to me being underleveled going into the worlds. Also, a little side note and not to brag ;) I have 149 ice damage and 10,750 health, so for all the people saying that ice cant have good damage and super high health at the same time, suck it :)

I agree so much with this, on my Ice I was able to get through ALL the worlds with little to no effort early game, just due to the fact that I farmed for reindeer knight and still use it to this day, at around lvl 100 on Ice I was sitting around 110 damage 7000 health and 50 ish universal defense, if I use a frillasaur, whereas I could easily get around 100 damage and 65 universal with a triple double frill over quint.

Myth is great because of the utility spells. Minions can be super helpful if you know how to use them properly! Especially if you lean more towrds blades (as opposed to traps). I like to use minions at the beginning of certain boss fights because even if they're not casting good support spells, they can still do some base damage & take a couple blows while I stack up on blades & astral spells.
@idkpeerpressure2854 Жыл бұрын
EXACTLY! Finally met another Myth that knows how to utilize minions properly. Before the myth overhaul, this was my strategy when soloing. Then, in groups I'd stun the mobs so we don't take damage from them, and I'd clear out any shields on the proper enemies for our designated hitter to do their job without worrying about powering through. Now I just blade up and hit round 3 or 4 because there's not much skill or strategy needed anymore outside of SOME cheat bosses.

As a balance/myth main, balance really is a pain to solo as, but it's absolutely the most fun school to play in a team setting due to feeling so useful doing everything from buffing to enemy disruption, survival and neutral utility and always being appreciated by others for having just what they need on demand. Pretty much the opposite is myth, which has been a breeze to solo as (actually a little easier than fire in my opinion due to slightly better defense and being able to ignore shields), but has more than once caused me to be treated like dead weight in dungeons from the get go due to being overshadowed as a hitter by fire and storm and as a support by balance, death and ice. Luckily, some of the best low pip spells of the last 3 are easy to find as treasure cards, so I've started packing a lot of Legion Shield, Plague/Virulent Plague and Smoke Screen in the side deck with Blinding Light and Shatter in main to keep enemies locked down when I can't play the hitter role, while still having enough blades and hits to attack if necessary. It's actually quite an interesting and creative way to play if you can deal with people's occasional bias :D.

arc 2 ranking: 1. death - crow is gas, he's literally the only thing u need + ur damage is 2nd only to storm, based on death's level 60 gear 2. life - very easy to get by, you can play both very offensively (your damage is 3rd best) and defensively (healing as much as u need) 3. ice - your defense is so good u can take all the time u need to slowly sit back, blade up, and still do >20k damage, not good if you're highly impatient however 4. storm - pretty alright in zafaria and avalon, main peeves will be celestia (pre-ww gear is not good) and azteca (they crit more, set shield, etc.) 5. myth - still good despite being bottom half, due to good 4 pip and 7 pip aoes. however, ur ww gear is actually 2nd-3rd lowest damage, and obv ur defense is not top tier 6. fire - just like myth, ur gear damage is considerably higher than only ice, problem is fire dragon sucks compared to orthrus because damage enchants split to the dot as well, and the dot is less useful 7. balance - u still struggle against multiple balance enemies (best bet is actually infall), but at least u have chimera for bal bosses and power nova for most others

I think now with the myth changes to othrus being the strongest 7 pip in the game, 700 base damage is such a strong spell, and myth naturally being a strong hitter orthrus is gonna be doing a buttload of damage no matter what, when i maxed my myth I spammed frog because thats all myth had and I still had rarely ever a problem, so its just good, but now you have a 7 pip aoe. ----#4 Storm. I think storms early game is shit and everyone knows why, you have 400 health with a 50% chance to fizzle it seems. tempest can carry you a little bit once you get it at 28 and by then you just temp spam until you hit max basically. its the same thing as life where as soon as you get a special level it begins to become a lot easier, once you get to level 60 and gain waterworks, you'll just bulldoze just like life, and now with the HP nerfs to all the mobs you'll kill far quicker than normal. Once you climb outta that early game it becomes real easy to quest solo, for the most part. ----#5 Ice. Ice honestly has no downsides, maybe for ad fights you need to spend an extra round buffing but again, 3-4 feints with a few blades for any school will wipe bosses, and again, the HP nerfs for bosses really helps when you dont need to do 21k constantly, you can safely do 15k+ can still kill. and feint spamming on ice is the best since you are a mountain of defense when those storm bosses spam hard hitting spells rounds 1-4 and you are still at 70%+ hp. its really for people playing slower than normal but theres really no risk to buffing one more time as ice. -----#6 fire. I think early game is way more forgivable than late game, schools like storm that struggle early game but shine mid game+ is way way better than being good early game then struggle late game. fire through most of the worlds is kinda just hard. the fire bosses, are in plentiful supply, your health isnt anything to crazy just on par with myth, your main aoe being dragon is split into 2 attacks, fire honestly not an easy school until 108. I think once you hit waterworks it becomes much easier for some time, but once you hit Avalon-Khrysalis part 1, fire dragon does not do enough damage. using feints like normal, and blades like normal dragon only does like 12k maximum. which for a school with the lower end of health you kinda just die. I will say half way through azteca sharpen blade and potent does help a ton, but its still such a low amount of damage. but it is manageable when you get sharpen and potent, but that is a long ways away. and why the fuck are there so many fire enemies -_-. #7 Balance. Other than the obvious reason of no trainable convert. if you are using chimera and hydra on boss fights in the higher worlds you are doing it wrong. to solo a balance you literally need 1/3 pets. The Snappy Gryphon, therizino, or a harpy. It is literally the only way. You either get Lerneaen Hydra, which is stronger, or Lycian Chimera, which is slightly weaker, its a 7 PIP AOE hydra or 7 PIP Chimera. It is the only way to quest until 108 for nested. Only problem now is balance bosses kinda spam elemental shield AND spirit shield and you only get one card so make it count. And dont forget the RA change so now you'll get a -40% plague which you gotta cleanse because that will ruin your 1 card hit. obviously you can bring a spectral blast to finish them off or something but thats just too many steps for a balance to solo. but thats vs balance bosses and thankfully there isnt that many, normal bosses? honestly with your buttcheek blades I just feinted 4 times then Nova'd and honestly it does a lot. if you take the balance boss out of the factor you honestly should be fine playing balance, nova doing nearly as much as storm lord you do a lot of damage. but thats only stopped by balance mobs. I don't think balance is THAT hard, but without one of three pets, I would say it'd be a ton harder. ------------------------------ thats my complete opinion on which schools are easier to solo, any school can do massive amounts of damage now. so soloing is much easier for each school.

Great video!! My first wizard was a Balance, I love him so much even though I had a few tough times leveling up through 120, which was when I quit. I think it’s pretty accurate what you said and also I’d like to add up that every class is pretty much playable and soloable since we kind of develop a few workarounds on their weaknesses, with Balance that was not different

For a long time I went through myth and balance before I finally settled on death as my main wiz which, as you said, is the easiest to solo with. Currently I have life, ice, storm, and balance wizards that I am working on and I'd say that ice is the most difficult right now and the fact that they get their blade so late is such a disadvantage. I found storm a little difficult in the beginning because the only downside is that their health is not as good as other schools early game so you do, in fact, need to kill the enemies before they kill you. I watched your video to see how they all compare and I am glad that life doesn't have a problem soloing either because I thought it'd be a problem since I saw the school as a support school but I've been doing a ton of damage when I have my blades and the kookaburra pet (having leaf storm and that blade WAY early game is so good). I am rambling but overall, I agree with everything you said!

I've played life school since 2010, currently lvl 96. I found it easy enough to solo 1-50, then 50-60 was a nightmare (I didn't have forest lord then and played celestia when it first came out). Celestia was my least favorite world because of that. Zafaria and avalon were also hard because the battles took so long even though I had waterworks gear. However at some point I think I got the avalon crafted gear in the level 80s, and after that it has been soo much better. The crafted gear gives a high critical rating so critical heals and attacks nearly every round, with high damage, makes questing very comfortable. I don't recommend the waterworks gear after level 80 (unless they changed it, but from what I remember it was lacking in critical/block. also don't know if they nerfed zafaria/avalon)

Yes agree to most of your assessment. People should never pick storm as their first/starter school. Learning to play other schools first, gives you experience in optimal deck building. Allows you to learn how to make pets, to enhance damage, resist and other important stats. Your other wizards can share stuff, with your new storm wizard, craft for you, even make a storm pet and put in the shared bank. Would advise storm to make a pet to augment their early libilities, Enchanted Armament is a great starter pet for storm, gives blue sharpens (for stacking storm blades you get at level 12), making it a double resist pet. You can borrow that iron hasta that has a starting power pip and damage from your other wizards at level 30, which helps in killing fast. Also the fact you already have a existing wizard you can have them buy the best Bazaar gear for your storm and lend it to you. So in effect the lack of gold is not an issue for your storm. They can also purchase monsterous tc's that helps immensely at lower levels. Until you get to Celestia.

I've solo'd the game with Ice past Wysteria (only because of the paywalls) and Ice isn't nearly as bad as people give it credit for especially considering the Training Points you can spend. With Ice only it was obvious tough to do.

as a solo storm, it truely becomes a brain-dead task. I literally would blade maybe once, then tempest and move on. It becomes so boring and I only got through because it was my highest wizard and I was bored of the lower worlds.

I know people will say death is the best for learning the game, but I gotta say I think it's storm. You'll make some mistakes at first, but it really teaches you how to build your deck so that you can survive and win battles FAST. This is a skill that will transfer to any other school you try and is pretty invaluable. I say this as someone who started with 4 different schools prior to trying storm. I never learned how to properly deck build until my storm wizard!

I absolutely agree with the sentiment here, but i honestly don’t think that it’s necessarily cohesive to teaching new players. I would say maybe doing storm second or third would be better, since a lot of the time storms are pressured to hit, and if you don’t know what you’re doing that can be too much.

I had a wizard for each school (except balance cause only six lol) as a child. My first wizard was fire, but I eventually mained storm. I remember raging so much as a kid 😂 oh lord, it was something special. Pretty much it's definitely luck based on the accuracy unless you use an accuracy boost. Most of the time playing now as an adult, I just go "if it goes, it goes. If it fizzles, it fizzles." and then work on a back-up plan for my pips. I always solo because I have severe social anxiety and even as a kid, I would play more alone because communicating with others was too difficult (but I'd still have good friends.) Pretty much I can handle most anything. Definitely being an adult that actually knows some things about strategy helps a lot. As a kid, I focused on purely hitting hard instead of focusing on a balance between protecting myself and hitting hard. I mean, as a kid I eventually got through Marleybone and about 90% through Mooshu (aside from side quests) as a solo storm. I picked back up and finally did the main quest (after clearing out my 32 side quests!) and I was literally on the last quest for Mooshu with the Death Oni and Life Oni 💀 I was right there when I stopped playing. Being pretty competent at games now as an adult (Kid me was very special /lh /j), I can handle it far better than I once could. And I'm currently playing as my other characters that either never made it to level 10 or my one fire wizard that was at 14 (which went from 14 to 34 in like a week of playing again.) Learning to play each school is so difficult because I have to change my usual style to fit them. Playing solo for them, you can manage pretty much anything alone. As someone that does it out of a must for my mental health, it's really not that bad. Just play your cards right and especially if you're storm, pray you don't fizzle. It's all about adapting to your school and learning to play it right instead of just going in and using spells willy nilly. Also I'm someone that never understood and still doesn't understand gear packs. I just focus on buying houses and mounts and cute pets I want if I have the crowns. I don't understand half the thing of having good gear, even as an adult, I just go with what aids me and what gives me decent health and find a good mix. Plus if it looks good. I will refuse to wear ugly clothes even if they give me boosts. "Level 38 is midway through Dragonspyre" Me that was stuck in Marleybone at 38 and later in Mooshu at 47 💀 /lh /nsrs

As someone who has Solo'ed with Balance here is what I've known with it. I had played a little before so I knew what my plan was when playing balance, so loading up every level I could get I would put a training point into was Life for Satyr because something Balance lacks heavily on early game is healing, so Balance as my Primary and Life my secondary. I can agree but disagree at the same time with the damage because at times it seems lackluster like I should be able to do more but in reality it just cost a few extra cards in my deck or treasure card deck. I leveled up as much as I could with main and sidequests before going to krokotopia because I needed my sandstorm to survive the game, was it a pain when I was fighting without killing the mobs that had slightly more hp than I could damage yes, but then when I got judgement I used that up until I got Power Nova then switched to Ra for awhile and then back to Power Nova, ontop of if I couldn't kill them immediately then I would use reshuffle and kill them in the next two turns. Now as for the struggles with the game as a balance wizard, the toughest bosses I faced were Balance bosses because you couldn't convert your damage to another type, and Ice bosses because they love to spam Tower shield, and until I had my shadow card that pierced through both Balance Boss and Ice boss, I was always waiting to continue later on in the game. Balance is nice because most bosses can't defend against you while on the other hand two different classes of bosses absolutely wreck you moving forward, on top of having really good stats later on and then just the gear in general just keeps the game running smoothly when playing as a balance wizard.

As someone who's played and maxed every school besides myth my experience with the game is far different from yours given the fact that I played before a significant amount of changes came to the game for schools and rebalanced a lot of them. If you were to ask me the order for schools before the changes to school spells a bit ago the order would be this: 1. Death- there is genuinely no reason this school should be this overpowered given how strong the class is at soloing and dealing damage alongside its gear stats usually being the easiest to sort since it really doesn't matter whether you focus damage or resist given that they heal almost all the damage and have good health. 2. Fire- having access to 2 of the best aoe spells in the game plus good health distributions makes this a close second to death because the school had storm level damage with great health. 3.Ice- slow but considering how much they can tank up to a certain point their damage is fairly good for their stats and health. 4. Storm has access to an insane amount of damage but the cost of that is they are squishy as shit and that makes harder content near impossible to solo unless you have turn advantage. 5. Balance- there are some areas of the game that are hard but given that they have the ability to cycle through elements and have great stats alongside early access to an aoe and x pip single target which allows them to finish off targets they aren't entirely crippled. 6. Life- your main aoe is forest lord which was 8 pips and had the lowest damage out of the aoes in its range at the time. You could get a pet kookaburra but that means you can't enchant the spell which means you lose anywhere from 100-300 extra damage on a cheap aoe which means you had to blade more to see better or more consistent results and you also were limited. You also had the fact that your other aoe was introduced into a pack into which you needed to rely on spending and rng to get or craft in which you needed to be at a higher level for provided you needed to be at least in avalon to get access to the recipe or get someone to port you in. This on tandem with the fact that we also were lacking a shadow pip aoe that was realistic up and until lemuria which was after the changes. Life by far was the hardest class to play at the time given just how they balance the class. After the changes the main difference is now life is far easier to solo with than before and has good enough damage to where I find I'm able to do the job but still fall behind because life just doesn't carry the same damage stats as storm or fire or death because the distribution goes towards survivability. I'm extremely appreciative of the fact that life now has access to a 7 pip aoe which makes them viable in farming higher health mobs easier. I still think death is way too strong of a class but that's my opinion.

Hey if there are any newer players here then let me give you some very useful info Buy enchantment treasure cards for questing! seriously this can really help you speed up questing tremendiously!! Preferably monsterous You can buy them in the bazaar but if you have a higher lvl wizard then you can get them in basically any librarian from celestia onward (except avalon i believe) if you can't get monsterous then giant works too. However when I get into groups I’m expected to be a support when I’m completely dedicated to soloing. If you need a 4 man team for a boss, chances are I’ve already mopped the floor with him solo. And yet storm expects me to feint for their hit

1 death - for obvious reasons 2 storm and fire - both attacking beasts, storm is faster, fire is more durable 3 myth and life - used to hate myth (due to lack of solid aoe or having anything unique) but with recent buffs, its just a solid school. life is good for longevity but not a spectacular attacker 4 ice - good amount of aoe and self preservation, just very very slow and can get you killed or burned out 5 balance which is tragic, i love balance and the number of aoe spells is nice and judgment is cool. but with no prism soloing can be miserable, lacks the ability to stack damage very well. The school tries to do alot but doesnt excel at anything. very Meh like you said

Honestly I think Balance is a pretty good school to solo. However, I had an enchanted armament from the beginning with my balance wizard because I got it as a drop on my myth wizard (who I maxed to 130 before starting my balance), which allowed me to blade stack early on. I accidentally made my first two wizards the most “mid” solo schools despite being a solo player, which I think was honestly pretty funny. It’s forced me to be a really good strategist, as I used to choose gear based on ONLY health and jam pack my deck until I started reading player guides.

Imo myth is very good for a good long time (as a player who knows how to play but isnt a max level master) but whether its because there is additional mechanics and/or a difficulty curve but myth starts getting challenging (at least how i was playing) about halfway through arc 2. All of wizard city through dragonspyre save for a few places meant to be played my a group like a dungeon, key boss, or a gauntlet like malitaires area. Celestia is where the criticals and astral spells start but only a few bosses i needed help on. Once i got to zafaria i needed help on a good bit of stuff. I got as far as avalon and everything is impossible and i just had to sit and wait for someone to help on everything not trash related. Seems to me that unless you are an expert at the game at a certain point you WILL need help from others. (It is an mmo after all lol)

I'm (mostly) soloing balance, presently at level 99, overall its been okay. The main struggle has been with high-health balance bosses with ice minions (and vice-versa), just with the lack of damage. I think that balance also falls into the same category as storm in that you need to know how to deck-build, and not be afraid of having healing TCs at the ready (doubley useful if you have the life-mastery amulet as I do) (I say mostly soloing because I'll play with my friends if they're online, though so far I've been duoing Khrysalis with my death friend)

As someone who has mostly soloed a majority of this game on nearly every school except ice (only up to 50 when the lvl cap was that back then). Death and life are the easiest, tho inconvenient because of lack of early AOEs. Fire is pretty easy power house, same for myth. But I forgot much of my myth soloing as that character turned into pvp only char at lvl 68. But never remembered having any troubles. Storm is definitely the hardest because of how fragile it is, but that's one of the things that makes it fun. Balance I find to be one of the most fun to solo, because you have to change your playstyle a lot depending on the situation and use a lot more spells.

For me personal. Balance a solid solo school. Very fun. I didn't really struggle too much that i know what i'm doing. I didn't solo every world. I soloed most stuff until the end in a world unless i personal choose to take it on solo. Rdy for Lemuria see how it goes through out. I'm a side quester so much higher lvl than usual for worlds and by that did some better) Ice is the only school i have ever done a complete solo with through arc 1 that i'm comfort in hp and resist. I'm main fire and with that school i prefer solo unless i feel like i can't manage to win solo that dying too quickly can happen. I try at least do a difficult dungeon by myself to decide solo or team up. Rdy for Lemuria see how it goes through out. Storm i haven't played much lvl 34 but so far done very well. It's also my last school choice that i'm no fan of storm because low hp and accuracy is no fun but i manage it to best ability. Play my cards right so no brainer just need to finish of a fight before defeated. Death well not done much with him lvl 27. Prefer solo though i'm not hardcore death player or as what i picture myself. So i may not do all solo but i will give an honest attempt with enough prepared set up for the foes before me. Myth for what i have done in the past with the school and the wizard doesn't exist anymore. I did decently ok and i was younger back then so my way of play have improved for myth. Though my myth now is a walkthrough wizard so not much there. If solo i be doing very well somewhat Life from the past was on and of solo plus i was more a newer player in some sense in terms of exp. So that was the lack of understanding small decks set ups are perfect . Now for my life his in a walkthrough so can't say much but if i did do solo him. I do pretty well for the heals not dying and fights. From all this. I do best solo with balance in core strategi and skill. 2nd be fire for the rough dmg output to finish of foes quickest possible and skill + stubborness like a raging bull mindset.

As someone that Started out as Balance: based off of the questionaire, I do enjoy it but I also started playing it somewhere around a year prior to Celestia: Soloing was a big thing with me... I actually didn't see too many people through roughly 10-42(i want to say) and it was a fair breeze up until some 'Tower Dungeon' in Dragonspire. Irony I met a few people after like my 3rd time trying to beat it and well... still friends today. A Fire and Myth. Granted I still tried to solo everything even Malistaire dungeon which... I don't recall if I managed it before Celestia... but then came the world where everything went downhill... CL all the way to like 110 I think... like 60-110 in otherwords... massive solo issues... I did solo a fair bit of it but there were those few bosses or dungeons where... I sadly had to waste time on taking anywhere from 30 minutes to even 2 hours on the same boss just chipping away at the boss. I saw another message stating something about Nested Fury and yes... it was a breath of fresh air and did actually make the game feel more 'Balanced' granted I am still not going to turn down dropping in on a group or anyone just to grab an easy battle... but going from like an average of like 30 minute and up to maybe 2 minutes a fight it is nice... but yeah... havent played past Karm so... not sure if it gets better.

The only thing that sucks about soloing as a death is how many undead you run into in the early game. And not having a prism till later is just pain against ALL those death bosses (looking at any "infected" or graveyard/undead" type places). Not having an AOE till late in the game is kind of annoying, but like you said, the heal back counters that quite nicely. Especially coupled with the strong blade and once you get feint, it's all over. I also love how death can run as a support. I have surprised so many people when I out heal our life wizard with a critical sacrifice. It's hilarious.
@reflex92382 жыл бұрын
Did also wanna come in say that yeah, soloing as a balance is not an easy task. I’d say that it gets to Avalon and Azteca where your lack of damage starts to show because even with 2 feints and 2 blades it’s not enough to take down the bosses in those worlds. I more or less figured out a way to combat this issue by just blading enough to powernova to take out the minion first. Then 1v1 the boss with the same strat I mentioned earlier except using judgement. Some other balance wizards might have better suggestions for this but this is mine. This strat makes a whole lot easier to solo but more time consuming. Like I said just my opinion.

The commons is only laggy because the game isnt optimized for so many players. I also have low fps there. Also the graphs were the best source of explaination of how a class manages.

Yo, I don’t know if you notice or not but your channel is growing hella fast and your one of the only wiz channels I watch so keep up the awesome work 👍

Honestly, I'm one of the youngest players in the wizard101 fan base. I'm 16 and main balance and honestly, it is a pain to solo, especially when I still haven't learn how this fully game works yet. 💀

Well first let me say, theres DEFINITELY younger players in the fanbase, so don't feel to worked up about that. As for not knowing how the game works? That's a place where everyone was at one point in time. That's what learning is for. The more you play the game and the more you learn how it works the easier it gets. You'll get there :)

@@KaiserNoah Honestly, I hope I can, since I've been playing this game for so long. 😓 I was like 5 when I first started and I was dumb and naive, so I just wasted my crowns on stuff that I didn't even need, lol.

Ive been soloing as balance with a storm secondary. Im currently in early avalon. School pips have given me a second wind right as things got hard. Balance is hell against other balance enemies when youre not using a spirit school on the side (or spiritual tribunal if youre okay with your ears getting blown out)

I’m running a storm right now with, I run 25 spells and 3 tempest cards. I set up my shields and finally drop the accuracy shield and then tempest does thy work. It’s a new character since I’m coming back after not playing for 13 years, but all I’ve ever played was storm with death trained to feint. I think I want to try a new school, but I have no idea which to choose. Storm spells aside from the OP tempest are what made me like it. Just cool looking animations and my stitched fit is dope. I think I will decide between fire, death, or ice. I can’t decide though. Also I don’t wish to always solo, anyone who wants to play feel free to comment here when your on and we can try and meet up on Humongofrog!

I solo on fire and balance. Fire was forced because back then they didn't have the team up feature. It got easier as I learned to play better. Balance was easy as there wasn't a lot of balance bosses/mobs in the beginning. You only see them mid-late game.

Life was the hardest for me tho. Since you couldn't do much until forest lord. Treasure cards was a key then

I soloed myth and balance, myth was extremely difficult not using minions as they are practically useless already. I did have an ultra pet quint damage. Same health as a storm but without the damage early on. Even today, with 180 damage I still find my humongofrog to be lacking in damage. Balance on the other hand was very easy from my solo experience and is still a very solid choice, Seems there are less balance wizards nowadays than myth. Just my experience personally, have played since 2008 I don't understand the stigma that balance is hard to solo, maybe because im knowledgeable it was easy, but I honestly never had any problems and i default to my balance for any 140+ dungeons :)

That’s really strange lol. Humungofrog does very similar damage to all other 4 pip hit all’s and there’s no real reason it should feel weak. I really don’t understand honestly, because i’ve solo’d both and balance is harder hands down. Less damage, similar, if only slightly better resist, only marginally better health. I just don’t really think balance has any strengths over myth.

Only strength is maybe judgement to be honest.

My experience for leveling, started on balance, and I can tell you that it was easier for me to level balance than fire, and ice. Now that i have all wizards level I can tell from my experience. Death and Life S tier Balance A Tier Storm and Fire same B tier Myth and Ice C tier.
