Thank you very much Aym!! I totally respect your opinion! For me, It's kind of the opposite. At the time when Joey was no longer in the band, I didn't like their new sound. But I didn't want to give up on Slipknot. So, I accepted the change. After listening to :5 The Gray Chapter album over the years and "We Are Not Your Kind" album now, I like it a lot! I, and am sure a lot of others would love it if you show your workflow. I know you post your stats and gear in the description, but how about a video showing us from drum micking (if you use any triggers on your kicks or not and why) to how you setup your mixers (levels, eq, effects) how you sync your video and audio, etc. This could be a series of videos since I understand there is a lot to cover. I got the first part... got the big drumset, got it tuned fairly well (Drum dial) I have multiple video sources from cameras to phones, I just want to get a decent mixer that is not super expensive so I was considering the zoom L12 or the L20 and not sure what mics to get but I guess a cheap set to start with.

Thanks a lot Brad! It’s the sound of the set. I used just EQ and compression! The stand for the bass drum gong is Pearl multi-for bass drum legs in chrome or PMBDL3/C.

Thank you T Drum! I haven't polished my Rudes in a long while! SInce I haven't brought these babies to a live show in years, I just used a microfiber cloth and wipe out all of the dust coming in over time. But for my other cymbals, I use Paiste cymbal cleaner and then the Paiste Cymbal Protector.

It's a Tama Starclassic B/B 20''x18'' bass drum. I used it on my "Psychosocial" drum cover as well as "My Plague" drum cover a few years ago. I haven't used it a while because I have it set up as a regular bass drum again on my other drum set at the practice space.
