I’d like to add that i too kick with Jay 4’s,I polish my pedals too but i’ll admit i couldn’t do what this kid does on a single pedal. My man is truly talented,as complicated as Gospel drumming is the creativity in metal music, especially contributing to one of the worlds best drummers of all time is so money you cannot comprehend! @@timkrash9190 You could also say that by taking on challenges like this Joshua us doing "what the best do" by taking on new genres and improving his ability to be put on the spot. You can 100% tell he wasn't ready for it, but every time he got back to a part again it was cleaner and sounded better. By the end he was doing an incredible job. My only tip to Josh may only be practicing more active listening. It seems like while he was listening he didn't play around too much which is something you would see someone like Chad Smith do right away. Either way he's only 16 and he's got a great career ahead of him.

Kid plays incredibly. He looks super comfortable while he’s playing. A very controlled energy. Pretty cool to see since a lot of drummers would be really swinging and moving while they’re playing something like this. Really good performance for three listens. And 16 years old? Craaaaazy. Tons of time to grow as a drummer and he’s already ahead of people who’ve been playing longer than he’s been alive.

Lil dude is a beast!
