You should 3bet an SB open from the BB with KQo, unless you know him to be quite snug. In a $5/10 game, KQo rates to be well ahead of most SB opening ranges and you are promised last action throughout the hand.

A piece of advice would be betting sizes and when to get thin value. You’re betting seems to be stuck in the 1-2, 1-3 mentality. Especially when you had one pair that one hand and bet small and got called, it worked out still, but missing some value. However next hand when you tried it with AQ, he probably remembered you doing the same thing last hand, and capped your range to one pair or weak two pair hands. That’s why he check raised. 5-10 will eat you alive if you play with the 1-2,1-3 scared money mentality. Great vid !

Imo you're missing a lot of river value. A 50% or 65% psb will get called less often than. 25-35% psb of course, but I think you make more money overall. If they have a calling hand, they'll be fairly inelastic to that sizing difference, and if they don't, it doesn't matter.
