5 years flash-forward those who haven't seen... She lost two deals because she refused to sing songs because she didn't believe in them she believes that the song should tell the story and she is a fantastic writer she is an independent artist I believe even without a label she has been at the top of the iTunes downloads for 5 times. She was invited to the Grand Ole Opry. Music is changing and there are so many vessels to become famous and having a record deal isn't one of them anymore. She has paved our way alone & what she believes and that is so admirable. And some of the songs that they didn't want to do that she wrote they missed out.

I was never really a fan of country music. There's a very select few country artists that I would even consider admitting listening to, much less enjoying. But this young woman here... Alexandra, your voice is pure gold. I sincerely wish my mother had the pleasure of hearing you sing absolutely anything before she passed. i can guarantee that you would have been her number one favorite, and listening to you sing reminds me of her and gives me some perspective of why she loved this music so much. The raw emotion you express when you sing is awe inspiring.
