Been married for 10 years and we like to split holidays. On the 24th we spend it with my side of the family & on the 25th with his side. Both our parents still work plus the siblings and their significant others also work so it’s way easier for all of us this way. Nothing weird about couples splitting holidays or celebrations. It’s hard enough to plan based on 3 different schedules in my own home let alone trying to include family.

"Sugar Free" does not mean Calorie Free. Coffee Mate Italian Sweet Cream Sugar Free liquid creamer is 15 calories per Tbsp. She uses at least 1/2 a cup, that's 8 TBSP = 120 calories. 90+ calories for 2 Tbsp of Smuckers Sugar Free Caramel Sundae Sauce + whatever milk she's putting in there = AT LEAST 300 calories for one of her "coffee drinks" Suggested caloric intake for 1 year post gastric bypass is 1,000 per day. It's clear by the way she makes these drinks without measuring anything that she isn't tracking her calories. That's going to be her downfall. Plus, It's just keeping her addicted to sucking down sweet drinks with a straw.

Is creamer an American thing? I’m from Australia and we NEVER use creamer. We rely on the quality of the coffee and milk more so than the sugars. Things like caramel and chai and cinnamon are meant for added dimension, not sweetness.

I have lots of clients (I’m a dog groomer) who have sent their dogs to obedience training, sometimes for up to 6 weeks. They don’t go at all and it works wonderfully

I’m going to say something controversial… I don’t think she’s had the particular surgery she’s claimed. Her weight loss looks more in line with a lap band refill or less severe surgical intervention. I couldn't agree more. No measuring, lots of sweet tasting crap, she really is having so many foods that would make anyone dump who've had the surgery. She recently said she hasn't thrown up yet but she probably has "Dumped", which is different but still a miserable reaction to eating the wrong foods. I ate a few pieces of Panda Express orange chicken and dumped for the first time after my surgery. I was at work and dumped for over an hour. That was more than a decade ago and I still can't eat orange chicken from Panda Express unless I make it myself and use monkfruit as the sweetener.

Glad to see another video from you ....here are my thoughts.. So, it's not true that it's more common for Latinos to gather separately. C'mon guys....as Latinos we aren't a monolith. That said, *in my opinion and lived experience*, it is more typical that if gatherings are kept separate, it's because: 1) families don't get along/relate well 2) one side of the family is inappropriate or disrespectful or makes things uncomfortable ( I would imagine that's Alex's side TBH because they are sooo embarrassing, clueless culturally and lack class.). My Latino family would be so embarrassed by some of Alex's behaviors and she wouldn't be too well received. They can read fake, lying, materialistic, uneducated people from miles away 3) the two groups can't make an effort to combine cultures. For example (and this is why I would never be with a non-Latino person), if you are going to be with me, you will have to appreciate and involve yourself in my music & cultural traditions.. the dancing, the food, the respect for elders, not being vulgar or inappropriate...etc. And vice versa...my family will also need to be open to *your* family's food/music/traditions etc. A nice blend of both where folks get along respectfully & with good energy. I know my opinion is unpopular about Yar but I stand by it. I feel like he runs circles around Alex in how mature, educated and well-mannered he is. Alex lacks all of those things, plus class, confidence and a sense of who she is. She acts, says and does everything based on what she thinks is trendy or will make people love her or make people think her life is perfect. We do holidays every other year. Example this Easter was with my family next Easter will be with bfs. Same with thanksgiving, this years will be with his family next year with mine. Christmas is different though. My family has a Christmas Eve dinner and then Christmas with his family every year. This set up is fairly recent though because his mom and my grandma both passed away within a few years of each other so we took over hosting holidays for both families.

Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners cause cancer in laboratory rats, and cause brain cell death. I worked with a woman who was "dieting" and couldn't figure out why she wasn't loosing weight when she would go pick up a McAllister's sweet tea (huge cups) every day instead of eating. I told her she was drinking her calories instead of eating them - same thing.

Why do you feel so confident talking about a surgery you clearly know nothing about. 1) fluids go straight though after bariatric surgery which is why you should not drink your Calories. The size of that drink doesn’t indicate the size of her stomach and you don’t know how long she took to drink it. 2) yes that is a lot of creamer. There is nothing wrong with these products themselves necessarily, more so it’s the amount and yes she should probably try to cut back the creamer, but maybe she doesn’t drink this every day. 3)has she said food “gets stuck”, or are you assuming this? that can be a complication, but it shouldn’t be a normal occurance like you seem to insinuate. And once again you contradict yourselves, constantly saying she eats too much, no way she had surgery, etc, now you are saying she is drinking her calories because she can’t eat eat .

No hate... but ya'll should do some research on bariatric surgery. I've kept off 100lbs had gastric sleeve 2 years ago. She hasn't lost much from what I can tell. And what she's drinking is fine once in a while. Pop is a no no. My step mom had gastric bypass a few years ago, gained all the weight back. You have to be in the right mindset. I don't think Alex is there.

I was so sad her video today. She hasn't changed her eating behaviors, not got to root. Snack snack snack. Sweets sweets. 'Sugar free' is still nit healthy. True on occasion like one month perhaps. Me too. Actually hubby and I refuse to go anywhere at Xmas. We stay in our home but my in-laws live nearby so they come here for most holiday meals. Well also I’m a caterer they like my food lol. Growing up we always had our nuclear family holidays as my parents siblings lived all over the place.

Not everybody wants to be on camera in any given family. I am in a multicultural marriage and my side of the family cannot eat spicy food.... so instead of having to cook quadruple dishes.... we just gather separately..... just easier, less headaches. There was an episode, many moons ago, where Yarmin mentions that he is *slowly* getting used to the vlog.... but it does not mean he wants his every movement out there in youtubeland for hundreds of thousands of gawking eyes. This is a vlog and not reality tv. I definitely would not want to be filmed everyday of my life for compounded scrutiny.... gosh who would?
