It's funny that all those male musicians were behind the singer while she sang this song. Not that she actually hates men, though, so it's understandable. The character she plays hates men.

that makes women different from men. It wouldn't even come on my radar the emotion of hating women in general just because of a particular shithead.

This is incredible but tbh I prefer Rachel York's version. No dislike for this its just my opinion
@MadonnaImperia8 жыл бұрын
+Jessie CurleyFries A rather irrelevant opinion. If you do not like this, please tell us why based on what the singer actually DOES, instead of what she does NOT ( = sound like Rachel York).
@jessiecurleyfries70788 жыл бұрын
+MadonnaImperia jeez it was an opinion, I literally said I didn't dislike her performance because from a singing point it's good. I just prefer how Rachel sings it, as she isn't quite as operatic and shows more emotion in my opinion.
@MadonnaImperia8 жыл бұрын
I just think such comparisons are pointless and tiresome. What you say now - that you like something less operatic and more emotional - makes perfect sense. But just saying that "this or that singer is better" doesn't. That was my point.
@courtneykayser12138 жыл бұрын
Her comment didn't say, "so-and-so is better". If you actually read the comment carefully, you would've seen that she said she "preferred" Rachel York's performance over Silber's. Silber, while a great actress, isn't a strong singer (at least in this show). Her voice breaks multiple times during the show, her diction is sloppy at times, and her vibrato is inconsistent and shakey whenever she sings in her upper register. I love her facial expressions and attitude, but the singing? Other than this song, not so much. That's just my opinion. Obviously, there's something people like, since she's on Broadway, but this show was not a strong point for her.

Aaaaa! Naoooooooooooo! Aaa!

I don’t care for the way she flips from chest to head voice, it’s very sloppy, also the tempo is too slow. You don’t have to make an ugly sound to convey anger. No better than a community theater level performance. Only my opinion. Please don’t anyone get upset about it.
@abigailabsity22463 жыл бұрын
I respectfully disagree. It's actually hard to keep a good tone in both while switching. I do agree if you think she shouldn't have to move her jaw for long notes. It must've been a high honor to perform where she did, so I think they thought this sound experimental and new. I know a lot of roles in Mamma Mia! Does this, especially those who play Donna.

@JP-bj2sb Жыл бұрын
@@phonecharger6789 To be honest, there are more female haters than male ones, and both groups are wrong. There is no need for a battle of genders. For clarity, I am a woman myself. I have rarely observed offensive speech from men. Most offensive behavior towards women is done by women. Andrew Tate is enriching himself in a hateful environment. He scammed schoolboys
