This song has me lost for words. It is my exact thoughts on the loss of my younger brother. I just want to know why it happened but I tell myself it's not my place to try to explain or figure it out. I just think of all the beautiful times together, because that's all I have left to hold on to. I will always see him as a sixteen year old who's song didn't get to finish.

This song literally saved my life thanks to my aunt I had been contemplating suicide for days no one knew I was just so tired and broken I no longer wanted to fight for my life I wanted to disappear into nothingness but then out of nowhere my aunt said you’ve been on my mind so much lately and I want you to hear something Idk why but I feel like you’re meant to hear this she played this song and instantly tears flooded my eyes I told her you saved me I explained everything and we just held one another and cried !!!!!

My aunt pick the song to be on my dad's CD for his funeral and we gave them out and I listen to it every day and then it got broke cuz one of my cousins came over knocked it down and stepped on it and broke it into two pieces and then as soon as I heard this song I started to cry

As i listened to this song i thought of how i could relate to it. Although my biological father is not bot dead (i dont think) i remembered myself as a child being happy and then how all of a sudden things changed. My father married a woman who i cannot say anything but that she was just mean to me. He never believed me or took my side and when i was old enough to understand that he just didnt care about me like he should of i decided to cut him out. Most of my friends know about it but it still hurts me and i can joke about having a deadbeat but when im alone and thinking about it i cry. I love my grandmama dearly but when i cut out my dad i had to cut everyone out so i havent seen my dads family or him for three years and they dont choose to contact me either. It still hurts alot and i really miss them. I wish i could open up to more people but it still hurts.

When I was 16 we moved to this small. Town in the country. I got a job but my parents only had one car. So I had to walk home! One night this kid I worked with and went to school with gave me a ride home from work. He told me his number and said anytime you need a ride call me. But I didn't have a pen to write it down. No cell phones in those times. Anyway He shot himself in the chest the same night. I found out the next day at school. On the loud speaker at school. I wasn't sure of his last name. But I thought to myself was that that nice kid that gave me a ride home last night! It turned out it was him. It was really disturbing. I wished there was something I could have done. It was so tragic! I not sure if I was last person he seen or talked to. But I never forgot it! This was 26 yrs ago! This song reminds me of him.

I am still coping with the fact I tried to attempt suicide. I still have night mares. When people are depressed they have no cntroll over there actions, the depression takes over and your brain cant comprehend what to do. Its not anyones fault. Life will get better. Just dont give up.

When my son died by suicide I made ketaminehelps.com because they are working very hard to figure out suicidal ideation and we will solve it.
