In addition: the black metal/plastic type shelving the Euclid Farms office first had before the makeover; if it didn't end up being used for anything else, as a suggestion--if it were used for the outside patio where she had a lot of refuse and extra items; maybe it could've been used to store some of those items in that area to clear, clean, and organize that space. IMO!

GORGEOUS! Just a thought though - if your client uses the woodstove in winter she may want to extend her tile "mat" around the stove since the heat will melt the peel and stick flooring ( it will also prevent sparks from landing on the floors when she opens it to feed the flames ). Love your work as always! xoxo
@debloui3 жыл бұрын
That wallpaper is the best because it doesn’t matter if the cuts are straight, the overlap means it’s an exact match when you cut it and peel off the excess from each piece. Give it a try next time! Panelling looks great, but the wallpaper alone would have been stunning.

I love how you always sneak some shade of soft pink into your makeovers. It's been my go to color for the past 27 years, wherever I've lived, and something hot pink has always part of my wardrobe and artwork for about 15 years. Pink gives me life! You never overlook an inch of whatever space you make over. Every item you use, is with purpose and intention. This is a great office makeover! I love the arrows on the floors, to the dark light switch cover complimenting the floral wallpaper.

The trick with paper is to hang it with the white strips then cut with a super sharp razor blade to create a single seam, you can then remove the white strips and they line up perfectly. That how pros do it. It's really an art.

The best way to cut wallpaper is to fold it back on itself and match the sides. Make sure the fold is sharp, and then just use a box cutter in the fold. Voila straight clear cuts. Been doing this for all wallpaper projects I have done, more than 10 at least

My favorite makeover ever! Walls, floors, cabinets, shades, everything is perfect! Love all the chairs! Maybe add felt pads to the bottom of the Article chairs to make the floors last longer. Amazon sells contact like sheets for windows that are opaque with designs that let light in but offer privacy. Graham is a great help! Invest in some cheap clothes to paint in.
@danielleboon15433 жыл бұрын
When you install flooring like that, you should snap some chalk lines to get things properly square. Never trust walls. Walls aren’t square, they’re never as square as they look. It’s just like how you used a laser line for your wallpaper and started in the middle, rather than using the corner or ceiling and assuming they’re level/plumb.

OHHH you cold come to England (fit in a family visit :D ) My brother and sister in law have an office..that literally fells like a prison cell! no one wants to go in it let alone work....my sister in law is a teacher who's worked flat out all pandemic..actually even harder during lockdowns as she has to answer all the questions individually and my brother has mental health issues and has found lockdown difficult which means his business has slipped a bit, they both have back problems so a dedicated work space would really really help them
@marilynwoodard79613 жыл бұрын
Great renovation! When you said you were going to put "paneling" on the floral wall I was like, "What???" But that turned out so well! Just a thought: it might have been a lot less expensive and just as good looking to put frosted window cling on those windows. Of course, you'd have needed another day! I wonder: did all of her boxes, etc. actually fit in the cabinet?
@aviajarehema73938 ай бұрын
This makeover was boss! (Even though in the pandemic). Highlights IMO: Cabinet, Green paint, Knobs, Desk chair, Dining/client chairs, Garbage can, Light switch plates. Also, though not part of the makeover, the credenza type cabinetry on the wallpapered wall with the gold hardware/accents are a nice lead-in to the makeover. As part of the makeover, the crown/strip molding painted white and placed over the wallpaper was a perfect compliment to the white credenze type cabinetry on the space. Kudos! 👌👍👏👏

Paint on your fave clothes is the worst! I do have a couple suggestions to salvage those cute shorts though depending on what you’re willing to do either cover the stain up with a button/patch/ribbon/a fabric painted design or you can try to colour match the shorts and paint over the stain with the colour of the shorts - I did this once with a huge brown acrylic paint stain on my blue letterman - mixed a matching blue and painted it over and honestly I wouldn’t be able to tell you what side the stain used to be on it worked so well! Love the suggestion of AG jumpsuits to paint in though! I would definitely get one to prevent my own paint stains on fave clothing items.
