This is seriously one of my favorite makeovers. Truly AMAZING. But please, for the love of god cover up those cords!!! Especially for wall sconces. It looks extremely unfinished with the swag lamp not having a chain and it being an open exposed cord or a wall sconce not having a cord cover. Every time that cords are left uncovered it confuses and baffles me.

I think this has been one of your most elegant, beautiful/functional transformations. The wall color is an absolute hit, specially with the TV console (absolutely beautiful) and the Kalax painted to match... It really created a completely separate room. I think it would be even more perfect if the accent wall color were brought over just a bit more to the left to include the width that the kallax takes up, so that there's no little white gap no matter what angle you stand at, and it'd make the kallax feel a part of the wall since it's the same color!

Ricki's reaction is my favorite so far! It was so sweet as she noticed different parts of the room, I have to imagine that the team felt extra appreciated that day. All the custom changes were so functional and cool! I really appreciate that they ask about the person's priorities for their space. Entertaining is fun but it's not the primary function for most people's tiny spaces, it was nice seeing all the thought put into her workspace. I also appreciate that even with minimal direction, they committed hard to the style in the video and got creative, rather than default to their own go-to styles!

I can't afford any new, or even "better" used furniture, so everything that I seek is as cheap as can be, (I have an extremely small Social Security income, so I pinch all my pennies hard!), so it's thrift stores, yard sales, Facebook Marketplace... all good sources when you have the time to keep looking.

Wow! What a gorgeous makeover! She was crying and so was I! It was so vibrant and lovely. You definitely have a gift! I live in So Cal, USA, in an 8 X 10 BEDROOM (!) in my parents’ home (both passed) with my missionary family members. We each have one private space, with communal kitchen, living and bathroom spaces. Because I’m single, I have the smallest bedroom - about 8 X 10. I consider it my “home” within the bigger house. So I really resonate with what you create so beautifully. I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to live on my own as I’m missionary poor, and have an Autoimmune Disease that has left me housebound and without a driver’s license…so I enjoy your series so much - I can vicariously enjoy all the possible outcomes as you do your thing. I love the Kallux bookshelf and always have (though it’s too big for my room), and I LOVE what you did with it! I ADORE color - I’m still a kid when it comes to color - the more the merrier. My ‘living space’ is blue, blue, blue with touches of bright red and well, pretty much anything primary bright, so I LOVED that accent wall color you used. Wow! My BIL won’t even enter my bedroom. He says it makes him too hot 🥵! Anyway, I’ve seen three episodes since last week and I’ve loved them all, but I think this was my favorite make-over so far. I LOVE what you do!
