I'm reading Babel right now and it's pretty extraordinary. The only thing that might turn off some readers is that it goes HARD into etymology and nothing everyone is a word nerd like me. 🙂 I'm fairly sure that you're going to love it!

I'm so glad that you've ordered The Society for Soulless Girls. I don't think that book gets enough hype. It has by far the most dark academia vibes that I've read in a book in a long while. I think you could like "When all the girls are sleeping" by Emily Arsenault, it has similar vibes as "A Lesson in Vengeance" but with more ghost vibes 👌 I've "In my dream I hold a knife" and "The Society for Soulless Girls" in my TBR and whenever you talk about it even when you haven't read it you keep hyping me!! There are so many books here that I am interested in. I actually have only read one of this list which is The Atlas Six, which I do hope that you enjoy but personally I found it lacking. I am currently reading Babel here though, which I am enjoying. I also want to read The Mary Shelley Club, and I also personally enjoyed The Furies by Katie Lowe a great deal.

Ace of spades is an amazing book, but definitely search up the trigger warnings, it deals with very heavy topics. Honestly it’s one of the best books that I’ve ever read.

I hope you enjoy the atlas six, I really enjoyed the book when I read it last year, it definitely wasn’t a five star read for me because the beginning was a bit slow and confusing, but it really picks up and i ended up giving it 4 stars. I think it’s a great book, but definitely not a favorite of mine.
