Video #103 and the only book I'm looking forward to at this point is just finishing that last 100 pages of The Forget-Me-Not Summer. I love middle-grade books and I love that you love them as well. I'm so glad I found adults who are into this kind of thing. I don't feel so alone in this now. I'm also excited that reading middle grades as an adult is a thing. I'm gonna finish the 5 books I'm reading aside from TFMNS, but I'm gonna try my best to focus on this one for the weekend. I'm also reading "Kitty and the Moonlight Rescue" by Paula Harrison, which I only have 2 chapters left to read, so I'm gonna see if I can read this one this weekend as well. Can't wait to finish these 2 books! I feel like I am spending too much time reading each of these books, but I was also in a slump for a long while. Anyway, see you in the next video...

I’ve heard lately that the book Mary Poppins is so different from movie Mary. I’ve never read the book but really want to now. That edition you have is gorgeous! Yay for The Girl Who Drank the Moon. I would love to reread it on audio.

Hi! You have a wonderful TBR for March! I'm participating in Middle Grade March, and so far, have finished one book, Song For A Whale, which was SO good, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm currently reading The Book of Boy, and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I'm loving this, and I'm a little more than halfway through it now. I also plan to read (or at least start to read) a middle grade/ya series, it's steampunk, which I've never read before, but these books caught my eye so I figure, why not? The first book is called Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger, sounds so good to me!! Thanks for sharing your TBR and hope you get a lot of them read and that you enjoy them! ! 😊

I read the Starless Sea and honestly I still don't know how I feel about it lol! I went between giving it a 3 or a 4 star and settled on a 4...beautiful writing but the story defiantly had some holes..every time I thought I knew what was going on...I didnt... Definitely is one I want to re-read and see if I find what I feel I missed. Love the wayward children series and come Tumbling down did not disappoint! The Nightbook was AMAZING!! I have never read a middle grade book that had me on the edge of my seat and such a surprise ending!! You are in for a surprising great read!

Wow this TBR is impressive 👏🏼 I’m going to try to participate in the Backlist Readathon (if grad school doesn’t get too crazy)! I’m most excited to read Clockwork Prince! I’ve been slowly trying to get through all of Cassandra Clare’s books so I’m excited to continue with that!

I have the Girl who drank the moon and Hello Universe out from my library at the moment, as well as The war that saved my life. I took your recommendation on A Pinch of Magic and got it for my daughter for Christmas, I read it before ever! We both loved it and I grabbed the water stones edition of A sprinkle of Sorcery and a regular book store version so my daughter and I can read it at the same time. Might get her to sit in on the live chat with Michelle Harrison if it’s going to be PG...

You have really introduced me to middle grade and I’m loving it. I’m participating in the March Through History read a thon and am trying to read some middle grade for that (historical fiction). But the book I’m most excited about in that group is Little Women (it’s also intimidating me lol).

The Library of Ever sounds like my life dream so I’m definitely going to have to read that. I’m also really wanting to do these readathons I’m just going to have to figure out a way to double up on prompts or else I’ll be trying to read about 100 books this month. 😅

Loved this video! Also I was wondering how do you find out about readathons and cool challenges?..I would like participate in APRIL 2020 but idk what challenges will be happening? Who is having these events? How do I find that out? Anyways thanks!
@alexandraroselyn4 жыл бұрын
Hey!!!! That’s such a great question. I watch a lot of booktube so I usually know just from all the content creators I know and watch BUT if you go to Caz’s channel, “Little Book Owl” she makes videos every year that list all the Readathons throughout the year with a link to a calendar! Also if you’re interested in a cool Readathon in April, I’m participating in The Magical Readathon. It’s a month long and it’s incredible- Harry Potter themed prompts. All that info is on The Book Roast’s channel. I really hope that helps!! Xx
