with the original song, my best friends and I would listen to it as kids because we found it relaxing. when one of my friends got diagnosed with cancer, we listened to it. and when he was in hospital, we listened to the song. then, in 2017, when he was experiencing his final moments, we played the song for him. years later, and my friend and I discover this version of the song we know he would've loved this version, and now we're going to play it at our school's showcase in honour of him me playing the guitar, my friend playing the violin, and both of us playing it in tribute thank you for this version

the paradox that is reminding people not to talk about the animatic but by bringing it up you are also opening up discussions about the animatic- regardless, what a beautiful piece! Exactly, it's like there was a sign on a wall thats says "do not write on this wall" and then they was a writing saying "ok". It really gives out a passive aggressive kind of thing to it. When I was around age 6 I went to my first orchestra concert, Danse Macabre was the song that was played, being half asleep i woke up startled by the first note (It’s really jarring) and from there a battlefield played in my head. I asked for a violin and got one a year later. I’ve played since that day, it’s like a person that won’t leave you alone whom you grow to love. When your in an orchestra, your job is to make it so that the audience can hear the story in the music. I’d say the people in orchestra are the ones that have the most fun because it’s like we’re playing out the scenes while you guys watch.

"It was a sad song. It was a happy song. It was a song of a summer day from years ago, tucked between faded memories like a flower pressed between the pages of a heavy book, now dusted off and clean. It was a song of an artist mother and a warrior father, and sons that were both. It was a song about the grass beneath Wilbur’s feet and the sweet scent of flowers in his lungs. It was a song about war and ruin, and grief and loss, and the nightmares that still managed to take him by surprise even when he was awake, and living anyway. It was a song about love and all the ways to say it: sacrifice and a cup of hot tea waiting at his desk, chess during the lazy days and music during the hard ones, leaving and staying, remembering and forgetting. It was a song about family, born or made or found or rediscovered. "

I’ll admit that I originally heard you guys’ cover of this song from an animatic. I must admit, I absolutely loved it, though I’ll always think of the animatic when I hear you play. The animatic was so sad that it amplified the angst of the way you played, and I loved that, but I cried multiple times watching it. You two know how to play in a way that makes me feel things.

"They conquered nations, he and his golden-haired friend. They were bathed in glory, twin gods shining in the middle of a bloody fields. But as their empire grew, so did their enemies. They came in droves, day after day, and before long Techno had forgotten what peace tasted like. The days were long and the nights were longer; every flicker of movement was a spy in the shadows, every ally was a potential traitor, every word was a declaration of war. Their home had become a target for a thousand armies." -Passerine Pg 10.

The beauty of this music and the skill of these musicians are making me want to learn how to play this song with my violin. You know what? I’m finding the sheet music and learning it 😀 Other instruments would not sound so good with this piece. Guitar really brings out the "cafe" in Cafe 1930. I think the guitar is like the coffe/coffee beans being grinded and made into coffee while the smoothness of the violin is like the silkiness of milk.

@violetiolite3 жыл бұрын
@@cricluexd4698 Officially they aren't! Their last name is Kagamine. Kagami (mirror) + Ne (sound) so they are like reflections in their design. (Also! Neat fact! The "R" in Rin stands for "right" and the "L" in Len stands for "left") Crypton lets everyone choose what they want them to be in the end. If you want so see them as siblings that's totally fine. Same if you want to see them as lovers or as the same person. (There are songs where Rin and Len are literally the same person) Some example of songs where they are different things: Daughter of Evil/Server of Evil/ Story of Evil stuff: Siblings Seasonal Feathers: lovers Alluring Secret: Same person
@laworder58613 жыл бұрын
@@cricluexd4698 Nai already cleared this up, but to re-affirm, they are actually just mirrors of each other! They're *commonly* portrayed as twins, but that's not always the case :) there are plenty of songs where they have different kinds of relationships! I personally am on board with them being funky twins, but there are lots of kinds of adaptations of 'em!

I find it lovely how I discovered this piece from somewhere else and listening to it again and again it just grew on me, I found it beautiful the first time I listened to it and it just kept getting better and better, rooting it's way into my heart and becoming soundtrack for many of my art homework sessions or for many scenes in my daydreams, from calm walks through towns during warm summer nights to angsty scenes where characters are angry to eachother. This piece just has so much emotion in it and at the same time it's so calming, it's like the calm at the center of the storm you can feel it's power yet you can decide if you want to feel it's warmth or it's devastating power on another note, as someone who has just recently picked up a guitar learning this is being fun but also some parts are being a bit of a nightmare haha that's ok tho, one day I'll learn how to play it well
