The glyphs are a reminder. They are tridimensional. Some are done properly, others not so much. The walls of a temple represent the veil between worlds/ universes. The figures and signs that come out of the wall represents Them and their world. What is carved into the wall is what went from humans and their world to them. This is how they were meant to be carved. The temples were the homes humans built for Them and their hybrids who were in charge of human affairs. Imagine Them as your family. The offerings were NOT to atone for any sin or get you on Their good side! Imagine having a guest- you treat hum/her with nice food and drinks. And flowers. And music. And joy. They were the family of the hybrid who was their child (the High Priest(ess)). What you call ‘invocation’ was NOT forcing/ summoning them to do your bidding. That’s filthy magic using the energies that are not rooted. Think of chemicals imitating natural substances- they cause more harm than good. ‘Welcome, Mum and Dad’ is very different from ‘I summon you to do my bidding’. Their statues were the representations of Them- like you have photos of your dear ones. The High Priest(ess) was washing, applying creams (the oils), spraying perfume (incense), clothing Them, and giving Them ‘offerings’ (the meals of the day). But the statues were not Them. Residual energies could reside in the statues, but it wasn’t Them who used to come through the portals in the Holy of Holies. Again, no technology needed to open the portals. And those could (cannot) not be opened from the human world. Humans called, They decided whether to come or not. What you’re trying to do with the technology won’t open the gates into Their world- you trying to break in will get you killed. Your world is a self- contained world, you’re not going anywhere but in your bubble. They are many- some created you for not so good purposes. Few of Them took pity in you and tried to teach you. But you are unteachable and extremely disrespectful, so the benevolent ones have given up on you, as a species, so they won’t advocate for you in Their Council. They have had ‘eyes’ (some human, some semi- human) walking amongst you to see how you are now. And They saw. *They do not trust you*. You have become corrupted. A part of me feels sorry for you, but nobody will help you. You’re on your own, soon to face the consequences of your choices. And, yes, Maat is the representation of the Universal Order, the natural Law that binds all universes together. You call it the moral law. As a "Person of Color" I thought the Alien beings (you know, life forms from another planet?) were conveyed in an appropriate manner. So? I liked the visuals of the way the "Aliens" were depicted. "What if they, (the Aliens) were Black? Well, there could be. Eye rendering is getting GOOD! Super real eyes show light passing obliquely through the lens as well as reflected back from the inner structures. That small area, the lens and rendering all the light rays that compose it, is IMO a key to hyper realistic convincing face renders. Another thing to think about is saccades. They are hard to render I imagine and people don’t necessarily consciously perceive them but they are important features of how the eye behaves and so should be part of the rendering.

They did a ton of work on this and discovered that light rays passing literally or semi obliquely through the lens had to be accounted for. I paint portraits and no matter how the rest of the face is rendered if I nail the eyes it looks good. I probably spend as much time on the eyes as the whole rest of the painting.

The Lumen looks amazing, i can see a pure Unreal Engine Animation, i suggest to set Lens Flare to 0.2. and Bloom Convolution should be around 0.8-1 and the last thing don't forget to save the frames in .EXR . Amazing by the away. Those Creatures looks perfect, i think you have use Zbrush for modeling them ?
