The burning of the Library of Alexandria was one of the single greatest tragedies of human history from a scholarly perspective. So much knowledge and wisdom lost.

@MrJ567 Жыл бұрын
@@A.Man.From.Cyprus not quite. Gaza has never contributed anything to civilization, at least not of significant value. And their current predicament is of their own making. I feel for the innocent lives lost but the destruction of Gaza would be no where near as tragic as this was in the grand scheme of human history.

Just imagine all the wisdom and knowledge that had been preserved for thousands of years in the Library of Alexandria, which was unfortunately destroyed and lost forever. It is truly a great loss to humanity. :(
@stepankylberger1971 Жыл бұрын
There is not much need to be sad. The real story of the Alexandrian library is way less tragic. There were multiple fires but none destroyed the library completely and as far as we know, none was caused by christians. Over the years, the library of Alexandria was simply overshadowed by new centres of learning elsewhere in the world, ceased to be important and was eventually forgotten.

All the ancient wisdom and knowledge are contained within the Akashic Records.

Nearly all the knowledge in Alexandria was cpied by arab scholars and found its way back to europe after the 10th century, Sicily with Roger I. with the most influence in the beginning. So the "On noes, da library" is a myth
A Musllim official supposedly burned the scrolls to provide hot water for the citizens of the city. Despite the atrocity, most of it or even all of it, is preserved in the hidden - for various reasons - libraries of Mt. Athos and the Vatican. However, if the reason was to remove the knowledge from general public access, mission accomplished.

Hello from Alexandria! Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of music. It truly captures the essence of ancient Alexandria. By the way, Egypt has rebuilt the library on the same exact location with the same name. Of course, it may not match the greatness of the original, but it's a remarkable endeavor nonetheless
@evan_vangelisskoupras30852 ай бұрын
It can ask for at least portion of the scrolls from the Vatican. Worths a shot. If they succeed, I hope they dedicate it to Alexander the Great who built it(hence the name ofcourse).

What a captivating title for a music track! The concept of blending ancient fantasy music with emotional and ambient tones sounds like a perfect background for studying, reading, or drifting into sleep. The use of 'Alexandria' in the title evokes images of grand historical narratives and mystical tales. It must be such a serene and inspiring experience to immerse oneself in sounds that transport you to the ancient world. Music like this can really help in creating a peaceful and reflective atmosphere, ideal for those moments of relaxation or deep concentration.

Queimaram meus livros... ⚫♾️🍷🐲🐉
