No. But from people I have spoken to that have the original formulation, it still smells nothing like it. But still smells good on it's own. And I'd like the 2006 formulation too! Haha

Nice review, I have a sample of the 2008 batch of l’homme and while it never smelled exactly like that batch, over time it has become a lot fresher as it macerated. It took a really long time for my bottle to macerate though. I would say at least about 2 months+ from when I purchased it. Maybe let it sit for awhile and see how it smells again

Dude AF is *highly* underrated.. I just received my 3rd sampler from them (21 samples). There are several I highly recommend from AF and DUA. What irritates me is you can't find too many Dua frag reviews on fragrantica, unlike AF. Good vid 👍

@@smellgoodfeelgood4248 I know I don't get it either. Fragrantica is a huge reference for me with buying certain fragrances. Maybe it's politics or maybe dua hasn't been around as long? I don't really know. But quality for quality - DUA will prob beat AF, not by a long shot, but certainly they have slightly better quality overall. I absolutely love DUA when I'm looking for frags that are insanely hard to find or if they're rediculously overpriced.

I had that same reaction until I let it sit for a very long time! For some reason, Homme Classique takes VERY LONG to really develop. Now, I prefer Homme Classique over L'Homme. Blessings brotha

Exactly right. I'd honestly say *all* of their frags smell better with time. A few of their frags irritated the F out of me, but turns out they did in fact transform into what they smelled like from their samples

Homme Classique is a “Tommy by Tommy” clone, but their take on the original formulation before it was watered down.

"Homme Classique, the "Classic Man," is a throwback scent that we like even more than the 2006 vintage L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent." That directly from the Alexandria website. I know a big reviewer said it's a clone of Tommy, but he was mistaken
