I share her concern for the future of this planet but I do not share her view. Like all elected officials, they cannot stay on topic and continually search for ways to promote "their" message such as changing from global warming to climate change and then interject "New Deal" which was not very well thought out. Nothing has been considered and nothing proposed that makes sense. First of all, the entire planet needs to be involved, second all aspects need to consider not just the outcome. There is pollution, excess CO2, but also the removal of plant life that filters the air we breathe, water and food supply, population control not to mention all the hate we have in this world. Not only our thought process needs to change but our overall life process. Since our leaders already have us dead and see only the gloom, they are in no position to do anything logically. They need to form an international organization of impartial and unbiased scientists and true leadership to handle the issue but that will not happen. Everyone loves to hate, everyone wants to be right, egos are shallow and opinions are biased. We truly are doomed.
