That acually proves her point, that more people need representation since English isn't their first language. We also have african and west indian communities who also have shaky english. When your down on the ground level you can see all the diffrent people instead of rough numbers. Acually I say it's like 5% no English city wide. Most of those 39% of people understand perfect English but speak it very poorly. They still get around pretty good. I rarely have to speak Spanish in the streets..English is fine 100% in any mostly latin community.

They conveniently forget that it is actually the public's money, extorted from the taxpayers through onerous tax laws. If anything they should attend to paying down the deficit that their reckless behavior has only increased. Do that, cut federal spending, and reduce individual income taxes to encourage economic growth and let those of us living on a pittance keep our own money and spend it on causes we really believe in and not on something that our elected politicians think is best for us.

But in the following elections, where they DID know, AOC got 152.661 votes/71.6% in 2020 and in 2022 70.6%! ----- And only 5 years later ( as of 1st QTR of 2023 ) AOC is listed the 10th most popular politician new or old across the country in an ongoing YouGov survey. ( 43% approve - 13% neutral - 32% disapprove - 12% "never heard of"). 5 of the 9 ahead of her are Presidents, btw! Among Millennials she is 3rd most popular (61% approval ) only after Obama (62%) and Schwarzenegger (61%). - With Gen X AOC is 20th (35%) and with Baby Boomers 37th (32%).
