Job growth is up and inflation is mostly affecting goods that are inflated by corporations not the government. Look at the people committing crime right now it's not poor people robbing for money to get by. It's domestic violence that up, gun violence is up, and so many more crimes that have nothing to do with being poor.

I just broke my hand. Of course I was in so much pain and I had to go to the emergency room. If you do not have health insurance in this country you are fucked. They do not put you in a cast when you go to the emergency room they send you home With up on pills with a note to see a specialist. Then you have to find the money to pay $300 just to see a specialist to tell you that your hand is broken and that you need to be in a cast. The emergency room bill was $8000 just for a couple hours of being seen and then sending me home I then had to come up with another $4000 for the Orthopaedic to put in a cast.

When they talked about how the media influences society’s perception of these issues……I 100% agree. While it’s important to talk about serious issues like violent crimes, we have to remember that every news/media outlet out there….their goal is to bring in more views and ratings to their show, so they’re gonna try to focus on certain stories and issues that they know will get people talking, but they’ll try to hype up the story and fear monger to make the situation seem much worse than it is. As a black person, it always angers me seeing on the news something about a shooting in the city (NYC) because almost always, it’s a black person and that caters to the narrative that black people are way more dangerous…..but then I have to remember that the crime rate is still down, and a lot of these crimes that are taking place….unless they give a date as to when those crimes actually happened, some of them could’ve happened months ago, but the news is just now talking about it to trick us into believing that things are getting worse, to create more fear. It’s also sad because we rely on the news to give us…..the news, anything from the weather, what’s going on in this country, around the world, in our own communities, politics, money, health, pop culture…..however, sometimes they do lie and they can’t be trusted. So I think we have to hold our news and media outlets accountable as well…..not just One America News and Fox News which isn’t even real news….hold CNN, MSNBC, News 12, ABC’s Eyewitness News, all of them need to be held accountable to deception and fear mongering.

So true people are tired working one long shift, 2 shifts or overtime. Going home doing house chores sometimes there isn´t enough me time or sleep time to recharge yourself let alone have time to go out and socialize. Things need to change. Corporations need to stop raising their profits every year at the expense of the workers trying to keep a tight leash and incorporating more work or duties without giving any incentive. If you take care of your employees they will take care of your business. It seems that they prefer to make workers miserable and have them work just for the need of money instead of enjoying their work and doing what they can to make more profit for your company.
