I canceled my Ipsy subscription last year before I made the resolution to waste-less & before I de-cluttered my makeup collection, but I've never been happier! It's such a relief not to be disappointed every month (especially when they kept jacking up the cost) & having so many tiny things I'm never gonna use. I will say goat milk in skincare is one of my all-time favorite things! The brand Beekman 1802 is a game-changer if you wanna give more goat milk products a go! Also, that ABH brow gel is so much better than the brow freeze. The MUA who did my makeup for my wedding introduced me to it & it's def been the best one I've used, but I think it depends on your natural brows & how you do your brows/your brow makeup style (: but I'm very proud of you for finally cancelling! if you want a good opaque white nail polish, look at holo taco’s not milky white! it is as inexpensive as cristene can make it at about $12-$14 for all of her polishes and she puts so much love into her brand!

Depending on the pumping method used in that foam can then it's not inappropriate for it to only contain a smaller amount of liquid. It has always felt incredibly wasteful to me but it can be necessary for certain pump/propellant types to work properly. 🖤

I don't have the exact mattress Alexandria has- we got matched with the Midnight Luxe instead, but it's been the BEST + Helix mattresses are made in a way that the little fiberglass they have in them cannot be accessed whereas other brands like Casper & Purple: people have had major issues with being exposed to the fiberglass in those mattresses

I just appreciate that Helix encapsulates theirs where the consumer can't be harmed by it...I've heard horror stories from both Casper & Purple mattress owners (about the fiberglass). But besides that I really think the quiz Helix has matches you well with the right mattress for you! I have tendonitis in both my shoulders & if I had any other mattress, I'm sure I'd be waking up in pain lol

I love Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. I don't know if I'll love Boxycharm by Ipsy since next month is the first month of the change in name. I didn't like Boxycharm when I had a subscription. However, I'm still going to get three choices and they claim that they will continue to use the personalization quiz. Boxycharm didn't use the personalization quiz and only gave a very little choice for the one choice one had.

I think it depends a lot on whether you actually get what you want from the bag or not. Because my roommate loves their Ipsy subscription but I cancelled mine because it wasn’t worth it when the products I loved were add ons I paid extra for rather than items from the actual subscription.

I enjoy Ipsy and especially some of the sales. My Glam Bag is, to me, pretty cheap, and I don't mind that it is mostly sample sizes. I've only had Glam Bag Plus for about a year and mostly skip it. I started Boxycharm about a year and a half ago, and it is ok. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next couple months will be like and then decide from there if I want to keep both. I'm a bit annoyed that these videos make it sound like Ipsy is so terrible.

I have been getting the small bags for years. We are saving money so instead of shopping around for products that I don't know if I'll like, I get 1 bag every month and if there are any products that are must haves from the bag, I'll get it. I get lots of mascaras and eye creams. I haven't had to purchase mascara in years! I have no complaints. And if a porch pirate comes, they replace it right away. So far so good. Waiting to hear why she wants to cancel so bad lol

I'm a natural nail girl and I do my own. Best advice I can give is always use a top coat. Over bare nails it strengthens them and allows for growth and on color or keeps the polish fresh longer and also makes the color pop.

If you want your nail polish to last longer, I'd try putting a base coat down first. You can get really good ones at the drug store for anything from strengthening to quick dry, they all work well so it really doesn't matter what you pick. I know for myself it helps my polish last for about 5-7 days (and then I get bored of it and take it off. Also I will note that my nails are very thick so your mileage may vary, but I did notice a big difference when I started using a base coat)

My 11 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with a nasty ear infection, basically she had blisters on her eardrum. 😢😢😢 It is very painful so I ended up researching anything else that I could do to help her along with her meds. Found that having her lay on a warm heating pad was helpful, but the absolute best thing I found was homeopathic, herbal eardrops. They eased her pain within 20 minutes and she said it also helped with the "blocked feeling". I found them at CVS for less then $10. You can also find them at Walmart, Walgreens, other pharmacy/chain stores. I highly recommend trying them if you are having any discomfort from your ear infection. Hope you feel better soon!

I feel your pain. I get ear infections frequently. Make sure to keep your ear warm! Sometimes one of those little packet handwarmers feels nice. For sinus and ear infections hot tea is wonderful. I especially like to mix 2 from Celestial Seasonings: Sleepytime Sinus Soother + True Blueberry Get plenty of sleep and don't worry about entertaining us. I know the algorithm means you have to keep posting, but we'll happily watch tiny vids about nothing until you feel better.

Are you wearing base and topcoat with your nail polish? You'll get much longer wear if you do- nail polish colours aren't designed to bond to the nail like base coats and don't protect like topcoat. A quick dry topcoat- seche vite if you're going drugstore or i like mooncat and night owl for indie nail polish topcoats- will help seal everything. If you're only using colour coats you can't really expect it to last more than a day!

For your nails orly rubberized base coat and poshe quick dry too coat. You put the top coat on right after you finish with the color (when it’s still wet) and it dries it super quickly as well! Win-win

Although you're supposed to get to be able to make your selections for 3 days & they are ALWAYS still picking out my 1st 2 products on the 1st day, which only gives me 2 days to pick my products. I recently cancelled my Ipsy. It's gone downhill so badly recently. I was a die hard fan for years. In February, they charged me $90 when I was supposed to be charged $60 for the Ipsy X. I emailed them and they told me that I'm being charged for my Plus as well and I told them that's not how it works. It REPLACES Plus. They told me I didn't know what I was talking about and I wouldn't get a refund. I had to go screenshot their policies and the app where it tells me I don't get Plus that month and they STILL told me no refunds. I had to talk to like 4 ppl before they'd give me a refund. Then I didn't get my box until halfway through March. And it was all just bad. Crappy products. Crappy customer service. I'm just over it

I cancelled in 2019 and I have watched your videos every time you post them and I have never regretted cancelling. Some of the stuff is the same as I got then and almost always the same every month just a different brand like I still have like 20 face cleaners and gave away so many serums and the same blush colors.

I cancelled after 6 months years and years ago, they never had any customization toward me. I have very fair skin and kept getting medium skin tone items, I put down I could not use perfume or nail polish do to fragrance sensitivity, and every month without fail I got a nail polish and perfume. I tried to get a replacement one month when they sent me a medium to dark skin cc cream, they told me they determined it worked for fair skin tones, this stuff was DARK. That is when I cancelled.

The last bag u opened was exactly like the one I got this month and I’m blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skinned. I also got nail polish last month and it was a lot smaller than the bottle we got this month. And it was really sheer too. I do like the lipstick cause it looks good and it is really close to the shades I pick for myself anyways. But isn’t the reason to get Ipsy is to receive stuff we wouldn’t pick for ourselves regularly to discover new things and go out of our comfort zone. My bags have been way too safe for me. Need to change my answer to the beauty quiz I guess.

Weird cuz my March bag was very different from those. I did get the ABH product, but I also got an eye cream, a Sophia & mabelle product, a F.A.B. product, and a KAB lip tint oil. And that's kind of a lot of skincare and I have it down that I prefer color makeup. All so weird.

Hey Alexandria! Someone in the comments already suggested using a nail polish base to make the polish last longer, but my suggestion would be to maybe try the peel-off kind, if your nails are soft and flexible! It is in itself soft and flexible, and for example I had my nails flex and bend but there were no cracks in the polish on the bend line! The only downside is that if you wash your hands a lot, the peel-off base starts losing the grip to the nail, and instead of nails chipping you might lose the entirety of the polish from a nail, as it slides off XD

I feel you. I love watching you unbag things but the fact that your time is being wasted. Just be done. Also I skip sooo many months. it is too much but I do like to get them during certain times. It helps me not be annoyed by it. I tried Allure box this month. I am pretty happy with what I got.
