I LOVE SKYLAR SCENTS!! Sorry for yelling, but they make one my faves! It's called..drum roll, please... FALL CASHMERE! When I wear it, I constantly stop and think, "something smells great! Wait! I absolutely LOVE roses, it's my favorite scent, it's amazing. It instantly transports me into a calmer state, like when I look at the color teal. Which helps with my PTSD. I just hate that they're so popularized and price inflated! I'd take anything rose off your hands any day. 😂

I've just had to cancel all of my sub boxes for financial reasons (but I'm free from my abusive ex, so Yay!), so I experience them vicariously through unboxings now. And that Gloss Moderne hair mask is a favorite of mine, I think I'm on my 3rd one.

I don't currently receive any ipsy subscriptions but when i did i really liked getting them just to branch out and try some new brands but my biggest thing is to use all the stuff for travel. Yes, you can go to ulta or Sephora and get the tiny sample sizes but it's so expensive! You'd only get one or two items for the price of one ipsy bag. And for the average person that only has one subscription box you can cancel it for a few months if you have too much stuff or change to every other month to prevent accumulating too much stuff. No, it's not usually exciting but at least what I recieved was pretty much always super usable

Before you tossed the mailer from the 3rd, may 2022 bag, it looked like there might have been a brush in it. It landed next to the couch behind Tater. I really liked the pink satin bags with palm leaves on them. I've been trying to find more bags and other stuff in that pattern. I managed to find a hair towel and sleep mask and that's it.

Half Dome is in Yosemite and Delicate Arch is in Utah! I can highly recommend getting out to see both, especially Yosemite and the Redwood Forest. There's a ton to see, a lot of it is pretty easily accessible, and both parks are absolutely beautiful!

I agree with the Tarte foundations, I used to be obsessed with the shape tape and such but I stopped wearing makeup in quarantine and just started again but I do it's bb cream with spf bc I'm outside so often riding or gardening. I tried the face tape again and it's just so thick and shows all my dry patches no matter how much I moisturize beforehand, a little bit makes me feel so cakey 😭

Oh, I *absolutely* wore the palest powder I could get my hands on without any foundation. I mean, partly because it was the 90s and my skin tone is ⚪translucent⚪ so it was hard to find light enough foundation, but I also think a lot of us (at least us punk & goth kids😅) just carried around a powder compact, you know, as a rule🤷‍♀️

Loving the color you put on your lips, really is YOUR color! I'd love to see a look done with the lavender liquid eye shadow and that highlighter specifically from these bags. The eye shadow was such a unique shifty color and the highlighter is gorgeous!

I dont wear foundation anymore, all i use is cream blush, sometimes cream bronzer and highlight, then i use setting powder. Honestly sometimes all i use on my face is setting powder just to give my face more of a matte look because despite me having dry skin, i have big pores and they dont stand out as much when i use setting powder.

Ooo I love these. I swear these are like The Roast of Ipsy ❤. I am here for it; I think we have similar Ipsy bags. I had an alt bag that I redirected to my postal box from the US. It used to be completely different and it suddenly became nearly identical despite totally different profiles (am occasionally a red head). Tarte Foundations have never worked for me either. I totally love to do the Build Your Bag but I give the Foundation to my friends (we trade makeup).

I used to get the ipsy bag scription all the time when I used to live in LA for a year and barely got anything I liked, but I still could use them from my class but I cancelled that and did the boxycharm subscription and I got a couple things I actually liked and when I stop going to make up school I cancelled the box subscription. recently I heard that they combined the two companies together and I got mine recently for June and it is very much smaller than it used to be when it was just boxycharm, I got mostly face stuff which I didn't really have in my personal profile I did. I wanted mostly eyeshadows and makeup, that's what I put on the thing not like oils or other stuff like that since I have so many from the course I did but I feel like even if you do the custom thing, they don't really go off that I'm okay with the items they got me I'm going to try until August try the icon version of it and then that's it since July's my birthday and it's like a little treat but still I feel like they really don't do the custom shit that they say they will based off your profile. 😅😒
