So I after seeing my good friend ‪@CarrieDayton‬ video on trying this company Thrift Vintage Fashion where they sell mystery boxes, bulk clothing by pound, and even palettes of secondhand vintage pieces I was super intrigued and decided to purchase my own! I got 4 different types of thrifted mystery boxes from them: 3 Harley Davidson Tees, 3 Disney Crewnecks, 3 Women's blouses, and 1 pair of 80's/90's vintage jeans! I honestly went into this kind of having low expectations and I would say everything ended up being better than I thought! Of course there were some misses, but overall I think there were some nice gems!

The colorful “clown” blouse is so cute!! So on trend with the bold colors! Would be cute open with a white tennis skirt and would be so cute as a swim cover up! I would say this was a really really successful thrift mystery box, probably the most successful one I’ve ever seen! And a perfectly fitting cute vintage pair of jeans?! Okay I'm glad it's not just me loving the blouse, when she said it reminded her of clowns I was like "is that meant to be a bad thing?", I love super colourful clothes and follow a bunch of clowcore fashion blogs so to me it's super tame 😂 great for layering tho.

the "clown top" is actually my favourite lol. it would be the easiest for me to style out of all the pieces since i'm very into maximalism and bright colours. its so interesting to see how different people have totally different visions for clothes!

Each box has like one good item and 2 duds, but for the (HIGH) price of a box you could go get an item you absolutely love on a resale site or at a flea market. Yes, you do pay more for those reseller curated items, but the price at Rose Bowl or Etsy or Depop or Buffalo Exchange is comparable to these mystery boxes where they have some hits and some misses all for the high price. I just think for those prices I want a guaranteed hit, I want something I chose so I know I will love it. Long story short: the price is my main sticking point with these boxes.

I may be biased 😆 Also, one cool thing on our website you can actually put your preferences in the note section where it says “note to seller” and give our team a few pointers on your preferences. They do their best to give you the colors or sleeve options you are looking for, of course within reason.

I agree with you about the color navy. I read a "fashion law" that says "if you don't want to get noticed, wear navy or black". Sometimes I don't want to get noticed, then I will wear navy or black. Yesterday was a sunny Spring day, I was going out to lunch at a hotel, I wore white pants, yellow top and yellow blazer. Because I was in the mood to get noticed. 🤣

I actually like everything you got except the "dots" shirt but I'm sure you can rock it! I really like the Black Mickey sweater!! The cut off HD tee looks well on you, just put a colorful or black tube top under so it shows at the arm pits and it will look fine! I love the jeans! I'd even cut them and leave a raw edge.

The wild blouse ... Undo the bottom 3-4 buttons, and tie it up. Pair it with the Lee jeans. We always wore the jeans tight rolled to pull out the bunching.

The Lee jeans 💖🌈❗👽 honestly I love a good high quality sturdy vintage jean. Recently got a vintage high rise late 90s flares a lot Levis pair and from the moment my hand was on it I got so excited and has become my everyday jean to do anything so I get you with loving a good pair of awesome denim pair.
