@AlexCattoni2 жыл бұрын
It's difficult for me to make a video that will tell you EXACTLY how much to charge. How much an individual freelancer charges is based on a variety of factors - experience, skill level, the results they've gotten, client budget, and project type are all factors one must take into account. You can hear what I have to say about charging/rates in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6GWg2eflqpsb5o

1:20 How do you actually get clients on referrals? Do you have a referral system in place like telling your clients at the end of their time with you that they will receive a % if they bring you a new client or they just refer you because of your results? How do you frame that in front of your clients?
@AlexCattoni3 жыл бұрын
I don't personally offer commissions for referrals - but that can be a really powerful strategy! Most of my referrals come organically from previous clients. It can be as simple as sending an email after your project is complete... this is a great opportunity to thank them, express how much you enjoyed the project, ask for a testimonial & to keep you mind for any future projects or referrals.

Invaluable content as always Alex thank you! Not sure how scientific those personality type tests are though; aren’t they kind of pseudoscience, horoscope-like methods which apply to most people? Lol!
@thatpsychologyguy3 жыл бұрын
The personality types she referred to aren't the quizzes taken from Cosmo. She's actually talking about research based assessments from psychology
@chrisd36373 жыл бұрын
@@thatpsychologyguy Yeah I know, Myers-Briggs, Type A, B personality types etc... These have been argued to be pseudoscience backed up by fake research and claims. I'm obviously not a psychologist so I can't really comment as to their accuracy, but when I've looked over them it just looks like a very broad range of characteristics that could apply to most people. Just abusing confirmation bias IMO.
@AlexCattoni3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I don't know the "scientific" research behind them all - but I do think they're fun and can very accurate! For sure not for everyone though, so if that's not your cup of tea - no worries! :)
@chrisd36373 жыл бұрын
@@AlexCattoni Yeah completely agree they can be a fun way to gain perhaps a little insight into yourself but id be on the side of caution and to take them with a pinch of salt haha. But hey, I’m also someone who doesn’t believe humans can be pigeonholed into neat ‘boxes’ of personalities- we’re so much more complicated than that and can change over time!
