While house 1 is styled better, the “bones” of houses 2 and 3 are way better IMO. You have to look past the decor and imagine how you would style it. I thought house 1 seemed cramped. House 3 also had a classic beauty.

#1 is the most modern but it’s the smallest ,so your not getting as much house for the price. I think the best is #3. There’s plenty of room to grow, it’s not to outdated, has great lighting and is very homey.

We tried looking for older homes more in the city but just constantly kept getting out bid so we opted for a new build and it was the best decision for our family! Good luck with your house hunting! 💕

We just sold our house in Montana and we decided to take a private offer and not go on market. We didn’t want to have to deal with 100s of showings and bidding wars. It’s stressful for sellers right now as well because most of us have to turn around and buy/rent again. We decided to rent for a year or so in hopes that it calms down. We received $200,000 more than we bought for 5 years ago. It was a blessing to turn that huge profit but this has been incredibly stressful fielding people literally knocking on our door asking if we are selling or renting when they see us moving boxes in and out.

But it was the best thing we did because we had our space, a terrace for sunbathing and now little by little we are arranging the missing things for it to be perfect for us! And we loove it. It is frustrating not have all the things that we wanted at first but.. It's ok! We looked for many many houses before we made the decision to get this one. I really wish you find what you want! ❤️

I'm from Belgium. It has exactly been one year since we started our househunt and we only just closed the deal a few weeks ago. The market is indeed crazy! We got rejected so many times it wasnt even funny, haha. In the end we found a house that wasnt on the market yet, but my in-laws knew of someone who wanted to move out of his house. So we had first dibs! So happy with it and we cant wait to move in. The owner of the house could probably have gotten like 50k - 75k more if he wanted to, but he wanted us to have it. 😭🥰

Girl we just bought our house in July 2020... we've been looking for about 4-5 years, but didn't seriously start looking until about 3 years ago... It was crazy, and the market is INSANE in Pennsylvania. We had put in an offer on a house in West Virginia two days before we put in an offer for the house we live in now and obviously lost out because someone had offered $120,000 in US cash (wut..?). I could go on and on about how we lucked out with this house, such as crazy story how it happened, and were like 10 offers on it if we lost out. But we're sooo happy that we lost out because we were blessed with the place we live in now and I honestly never want to move out! It was meant to be a SO worth the wait! Something PERFECT will come up for your little family, too!

I forgot to mention, our how is "sweat equity". Definitely needed *updated* but had rooms that were perfectly fine. It was straight out of the 50s/60s but it's so much fun to make our house or HOME and the way we want it to be! Plus, if we ever did want to sell it, our realtor guessed that we may profit 100k+ off of it, depending on the market. You just never know!

So don't dispair, have some patience and you will find what you are looking for. Don t rush into anything if you have doubts or it ain t what you are expecting.
