It is so nice to see a "small kitchen" makeover where the kitchen is actually SMALL! A little tip for the floor tiles--esp. if replacing carpet--clean the surface with plain rubbing alcohol and a rag. It will get dust otherwise missed and dries quickly. Also great for pulling up glued carpet underpadding. Thanks for the great ideas for a genuinely small kitchen!

I make poster board mock ups of pictures and tape them to the wall with painters tape. I think the back paper really highlights when there is a discrepancy between the amount of area between two items being off. I think that it gives me the opportunity to see how things will look before putting holes into the wall and you have the opportunity to reposition a few times. I think your kitchen makeover came out fabulous.

Awesome job! If you decide to do an upgrade on those pantry shelves in the future, you could get new, deeper shelves that fit cut at the hardware store and then put a piece of molding on the front of them and paint them white to match. Could be cheap wood since you are just painting them and that way you have a real built in!

💐What a sweet sister! Tina seriously upgraded the style quotient in that space. She took a blah, boring, but solid base to a fresh, mod cottage showroom. Bravo! 👏 🖼 Love wall art in kitchen, esp. in a room w/o windows too. It really can add pizzazz & elegance. Her selection works quite lovely with that soothing color palette. Unless she is thinking about adding a shelf or rack below at some point, I would only suggest those two pieces be lowered. Art is best at eye level (about 60" from floor to mid-print). They seem too high. ⚱ Tina did a ovely merchandising the pantry, cart & counters. It's all pretty, organized, and functional. ☮🌼💛🌼☮
