Hadn’t purchased new irons in almost 22 years and picked up the JPX 919HM as much new set and honestly I’m in love! The 921s look so good too! Either way can’t go wrong with the JPX HM range these days.

Couldn't quite stretch the budget to the forged ones, but about a year ago I got the 919MHPros, absolutely rate them, never felt so confident with the longer irons and standing on the tee on a par 3. Love them.

Hey Alex. If you swing the new iron with the clear foil on the mat, the friction will pull it off and it will be a lot quicker than taking it off with your hand!!!!

Hey Al, love your stuff. 2 things: Fist those are steel shafts. Project X LZ is a steel shaft. It's just black. Second, the Hot Metal and the Hot Metal Pro both have the same lofts. Keep putting out great stuff,. Take care. Be Safe.

I just got fit for the 921 Hotmetal the other day and went with the black steel shaft, don’t feel bad when the fitter handed it to me even after I held the club I said “I dont do graphite, I’m not 60 years old!”, The fitter smiled and said it’s a. Steel shaft…….oh well…it fooled me too. Thanks again!

Have you done a video on your simulator set-up? It is the best I have ever seen. :) Absolutely love your videos, you make golf fun, which is what it should be all about. Now off to get fitted for some JPX HMP's :)
@Sluggo013 жыл бұрын
Just got fitted..Chicago, 921 forged, went through 10 diff heads and a number of shafts, PGA store did a great job, the JPX kept the the most Consistent pattern out of all the other irons including Titleist most of the other stats were very equal to each other spin rate smash all the stats but the GPX held a small pattern 10 foot circles at 160 yards yeah buddy takes eight weeks

Hot metals are some underrated clubs. I'm still rocking the jpx 900 hot metals and they are fantastic. I'm normally a buy new irons every year or two guy, I love my HM's so much I'm going on year 3 with them, zero desire to get out of them.. which is a record to me. Fantastic line of clubs. When I do upgrade, it will be for more HM clubs.. I love them that much.

@Bleda20024 жыл бұрын
The pro is for the player who wants it to look traditional with a smaller head, little offset, but wants the forgiveness and tech of the hot metal face. It definitely is in a weird little spot, but with out the pros I wouldn't have moved in to the jpx919s from mp-h4s

So i just ordered the 921 hmp. one thing that i cant forgive myself is not even trying the forged. I just followed what the fitter recommended and not what i like. Hopefully, it was a good choice. One thing we noticed with my fitting is my launch angle is so high with my 33° 7 i200 and now its lower by 3 degrees. Not sure of that’s enough but hopefully this hmp works out. Do you think this model will stop in the green considering i already have a high ball trajectory?

I was fitted for the 919 hot metal pro’s a couple years back. All it was, is a look difference. It’s like putting all the lofts and lies and tech from a p790 iron, and shuving it into a p770. But, not game improvement...not, players distance...Honestly the hot metal standards just sucked for me at the time. And I didn’t feel like I could benifit from the forged model. So, boom. In slips the beafy, sexy, hot metal...PRO😂. Basically the hot metal in a more sexy package with black color in the lettering.

How are you hitting the ball that far with those shaft? I would have thought they'd have to be stiffer for you. The dispersion wasn't bad. I don't think I could get used to the lofts, club head numbers in the Hot Metal line
@JC-kz3ut3 жыл бұрын
Coach forced me to get these after years of blade-ry. Yes, they look huge, but they don't actually look *that* bad. Yes, they don't have much butter, but being Mizuno's, they've still somehow managed to make it somewhat soft. Actually, my only qualm with these are because of the dumb loft jacking, the bottom of my bag is absolute crap. 140 yards in is the strongest part of my game, and I'm having to carry 5 wedges including the PW, and that's cack. Even if I spaced my Vokey's, I'd be carrying 4 wedges with limited versatility. The top end of the bag is okay, because I get to take out my driving iron which is nice, but it goes back to the age old question of is a 7i a 7i when it's spec'd like a 5i-6i?
@KammaQwazi3 жыл бұрын
I have the 4-9 in hot metal pro with the P and G forged and it has worked out fairly decently so far. It is definitely weird cranking my 4 iron over 200 yards though, I used to never come close to 200 with an iron.
