Well, Navalny supported the russian intervention in Georgia 🇬🇪 in 2008, he "Navalny" once openly said in an interview with Ekho Moskvy "I would never return Crimea to Ukraine, If I become the President, I advised them not to deceive "ukranians" themselves." So whats you're point?

The idiots in the comments don't know that Navalny is an ultra-nationalist, anti-immigrant (African student) and once described him with decayed teeth. And they do not know that Navalny was one of the strongest supporters of the annexation of Crimea, and even described Putin as weak because he did not do the same with Donbass. He also supported the invasion of Georgia in 2008 and described the Georgians residing in Russia as rodents.

Simply to show his people how this government they elected is really evil to them. Now many Russians starts to see it since Putin have brought so many new laws and amendments to lock his own power over them. Nobody is aloud to speak their minds anymore or leave the country when they want, they need the approbation of their dictatorship government...and they have to give their men, sons, brothers, fathers to go in the meat grinder in Ukraine. Navalny even if he is racist also like Putin, searched to prevent all this to his population, knew what Putin was planning and now his imprisonment and the fact that they search all means to stop him to talk, depriving him of any human rights and decency, is just proving even more how he was right all along. How Putin is ready to shut people up by all means. In a way he was sacrificing himself only to wake his people up...but it is far too late now....even if people understand this better now. Putin grabbed his power and there will be no more elections...he made sure to stay in place and people voted for him to stay in power for the rest of his life, while they were in the pandemic crisis...way before this war against Ukraine. Since then he kept reducing the voice of people by threatening them...now they can also be labeled like foreign agents and are denounced by Russian's payed anonymous agents watching everyone. It could be the guy at the restaurant, your cousin, a friend or colleague...people desperately need to have jobs and money now with all the sanctions...so it is easy for Putin to find secret agents spying on people. People in Russia aren't interested in their politics or the world politics for most part. So slowly this Russian government could place their laws...like stepping stones... patiently one after the other...without people really noticing that he was bringing his country back to the USSR totalitarian regime. Russians were totally fooled by their propaganda and are now stuck. So most probably Navalny will die as a martyr, unfortunately.

Let's see... if you are a god and you have the power to decide what will happen... ... For that babe, you destroy Putin... ... yet Russia and the people, including the daughter, will be 3rd class citizens to the world, much like China during Japanese occupation; your heads cannot rise high, and state bargaining power so low, economy can't go much, and people suffer... ... Or for Putin, let Russia win, increasing its influence in Europe, that behind ordinary Russians is a powerful homeland to reckon with... ... And Russia is used by EU to balance US, and economics resumes... ... If you are a god... won't it be a hard choice? It is the for the Germans. Interesting eh?

So, the KGB man makes sure it's he, not Navalny, who is going to be alive in that foreseeable future. The Georgian rulers are also doing the same shit to their opposition leader, the ex president. Same BS as reason for going to harsh imprisonment, "corruption." George, BTW, was home to Comrade Stalin, who killed more Russians & Eastern Europeans than Hitler. These people have the same twisted mental make-up.

Because he is a liar, Putin never poisoned him, it's all bs, and the joke of a doc is bs too....he had fertilizer in his shorts...not fnnnn poison. It is coming out....wait and see Navalny.

I have followed his story for years. He made a huge mistake by returning to Russia after his poisoning. He would have been a louder and done more from the outside. I wish him well and freedom.

I know, I can not wrap my mind around it. How outrageously he was poisoned, how the Russians shied no most outrageous tries to poison him. I honestly wonder if he thought that if he goes to other countries that would have happened to him over and over again. Criminals will do that, repeat the same crimes over and over again. I would have taken my chances and never returned, still better than to waste away in prison for crimes he did not commit.
