Way too early to for a redraft, but based on what we've seen so far, where does Jordan Hawkins go in a redraft?👇

New Orleans has drafted better than just about anybody over the last few years. Getting Trey Murphy, Herb Jones, Jose Alvarado, Dyson Daniels, and Jordan Hawkins in the last three drafts is ridiculous. It's not like they were all top 10 picks either. Herb went 35th, Alvarado was technically undrafted, and Murphy and Hawkins were both mid-first round. They've become one of the deepest teams in the league. Zion and Ingram haven't even had their best seasons, but the team is still winning most of their games recently due to the contributions up and down the roster.
@thomasbland6754

In my opinion this has been one of the best seasons for Ingram and both Zion. Yeah stats wise isn’t as pretty but they have shown a level of maturity by allowing others to score. Multiple games they have taken few shots and allowed others to light it up

Perfect timing for this video to come out the same day Pelicans finally decide to solidify Hawk in the lineup and as a result getting a franchise record 25 threes !

As a Pelicans fan, I’m so glad you’re covering him! It’s been exciting to see him and Trey in the court together just lighting it up. The only issue is Willie Green’s lineups and rotations. The dude is horrible at putting the right players on the court at the same time. For example, a player could be ridiculous hot and cooking on offense, but he’d take them off the court and put Dyson on a Center. That literally happened earlier this year, so yeah. Other than that, I’m glad Jordan is on the team, he just needs more playing time.
@rome8180
@rome8180 11 ай бұрын
Willie Green always prioritizes defense over offense. It's cost the Pelicans a bunch of games in the clutch because they've been unable to score when they really needed to. If the Pelicans had won even half of their 1-2 possession games, they'd be 2nd in the West. They're still 5th after tonight, which is pretty good, but there's a lot of room for improvement with the way they close games.

I think Hawkins has legit star potential… multiple 30+ pt games with a 39%+ 3pt average is not a fluke.. he also can hit the moving 3s whether on or off dribble and has a very solid iq when it comes to making the right play and working with his teammates.. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets all star and all nba recognition within the next 2-3 years; especially if he improves on the defense and playmaking side of things

There is so much Ray Allen in his game, it's crazy. He *obviously* is not there yet, but you don't have to squint hard to see that as his trajectory. All the secondary offensive talents you mention Ray Allen was excellent at. Hell, their shots even look similar. Future is bright for Los Pelicanos. He keeps growing at this rate, and they may even have to make a decision about CJ's contract sooner than later...

Pelicans are SECOND in the entire NBA in 3 point percentage. This is a testament to both the elite shooting they have (obviously) but also the gravity that Zion and Ingram demands as they’re prolific at driving to the rim.

His shot gives me young 2002-2007 kobe vibes. Super smooth follow through, sweep and sway with a little twist to the left on the landing, and the guide hand stays to the left fingers spread. Only difference is he has a slightly lower set point and releases more on the way up then at the top of his jump which kobe would do in his athletic prime, but the follow through and sweep and sway are Kobe-lite. Not saying he's as good of a shooter or that he will be as good of a player as kobe because I can't tell the future, but that his form looks like Kobe's form.
