I am a prime example of what he was saying. I have a company doing more than 1 million in EBITDA. And I only watch his educational content like this. I was just like the guy that said he stopped watching his content cause it wasn’t resonating as much anymore. I was watching way more of his wife’s content because of it. But I can feel even her content pushing towards the entertainment a little more which I have noticed I have been watching less of hers lately as well even though the substance is always good! In general I don’t have time to sit down and just be entertained. If I’m going to watch a 10-50 minute video I need to learn something. Even if I don’t ever become one of his partners I have bought all his books and have paid 10k for my partner and I to go to his in person work shop because of his content like this!

You must be a natural talent. This stuff to me feels like a top actor telling people to move to Hollywood to become as actor. Nobody would do such a thing. I recommend to people not to be an entrepreneur because it’s so difficult. The ones who ignore the warnings are ready and will succeed. I’m upset by these videos as it’s better to tell people how unlikely it is they will succeed particular as we are at the end of this influencer cycle. It’s a buy at the top market right now not the beginning of a golden era of the age of social media influencers. It feels dead and old news to be chasing this sort of thing.

I'm 11 minutes in, this is easily one of the most insightful and helpful videos I've ever seen in terms of being analytically driven to understand the complete and total picture of who to serve, how to serve them, why it'll be better this way. That's the most important aspect of business. Seeing you completely go over all the data, see what the actual effects of your work and videos and books, and all your content and to show how it's now going to be better going forward since you understand the adjustment of your content going forward. I truly don't think this video could be any possibly better. We fall into that category, and this video has been a tab for about a week now(yes, I'm a tab guy like that). As a KZbin agency funder, I am not entirely convinced by all the concepts presented. By the way, we do not offer dfy services; instead, we build content departments within small companies and then move on. I don't have much time to comment, but I have watched this video twice. Firstly, there are many great nuggets of wisdom, thank you for that. Secondly, Alex already has an established brand and audience, and this pivot is great for him. However, what about someone who is just starting out? It seems that KZbin may not promote your content as much if it is perceived as more boring and no interesting(packaging). Thirdly, Alex said that a good idea is to attract only the right people. Okay, that's great, but what if the "not-right" people share your content with friends who are more aligned with your target audience?

Very insightful video. Thanks for sharing! For educational videos, I feel like the research and preparation makes each minute more "nutrient-dense." I feel like I get more education (and entertainment) when someone brings up the charts, the stats, the data, etc. I also grew (relatively) quickly in the first few years, and it was definitely a journey to later decide where to focus and what long-term vision to pursue. I think figuring out what we're doing right can be more fun than figuring out what we're doing wrong, but can still take time. Learning to improve the process over time can be very fulfilling in its own right.
