Crazy how the context here is a gold mine and crazier that this is just here, for FREE! People nowadays don't just look for "entertaining" content but "educative" content. The challenge now is how to combine both to engage more people. Thank you for this!

I love seeing Chris ask selfish questions about his own videos! I believe doing this kind of 'live 1-on-1 coaching/conversation session' is the best approach for these episodes. Thank you for this! I'm happy to be a member and to see this as soon as it's published :)

54:30 For an AB quick thumbnail test I find very useful to make a few thumb variations, place them in a folder and then right click - "view as large icons". The one image that your eyes go to first, that is the winner 😄🌟📂 you can also leave the folder and come back and double check if the one that pops is always the same one, works pretty good for quick tests.

Chris and the futur channel have been my mentors as a creative trying to start an online business. When I first watched this old short story of Chris I thought he was a jerk but now I believe he is one of the most genuine and humble content creators out there. You guys really understood the task of how to build trust with the audience these days. ~~ Just a note tho, I think the social media team didn't follow brendan's advice on the title here! haha

"Generalist Principle: How do we make your content interesting to the average person while not losing the sub-text of our core audience? Example: Graham Stephen's, 'How I bought a Tesla for $78 a month.' The average person will watch that but he's teaching finance principles." (6:53) - first of all, he articulated this perfectly and used a perfect example! Deep down, I feel like we all know this and honestly for me, it does make a lot of common sense when he says it! And yet, even with so many tools at my disposal, I still make content the way I've been doing it! Lol 😂😂 This is definitely a key take-away for me! Thank you Brendan and The Futur!

Omg I feel like I’m gasping for breath at how valuable all this information is! Im writing down so many notes. Love how actionable a lot of the advice is. Thank you to both of you! Chris you do such an amazing job bringing out actionable steps from this Brendan. And thank you to Brendan for not holding back and sharing so much! I’m at the last 20 mins of the video but I still have to digest what has been said so far. Will finish the vid in the morning. But my mind is already racing on how I can use this to help me understand how I can make a structure for myself.

I'll be honest, I hated The Futur old style of abrasive workshops. They were so awkward and abrasive. The recent videos are so invaluable for any content creator or business person. For FREE! I've since gone back and watched earlier videos - now I've seen Chris be vulnerable, human and personable. I viewed it with a different lens. EVERYTHING is quality. Old AND new. I'm so very grateful. Keep up the amazing work, Chris Do and team. Thank you so much. ❤

Steven Bartlett's DOAC was recently featured in an expose on BBC Global Stories for his recent content focus on fringe health/medical influencers - so his example, whilst clearly successful as a format, is also a warning from a brand perspective. Following 'what works' can also cause you to lose sight of the bigger picture, in pursuit of growth at any cost. That caution aside, I think this was a brilliant episode, and a much-needed antidote to trend-based social media strategies. It has really got me thinking.

Making a comment as I tune in (maybe this is answered later in the episode...) At 16:25, talking about being creative and not having social media as post after post of 'adverts', expanding reach by diversifying the content - example of leather goods guy doing features on how well goods are made - I'm an author, and research tells me to focus on my READERS and not so much PROCESS videos as while there will be engagement from fellow writers feeling the 'pain' of the process, they ultimately are not the ones who will buy my books. Maybe my creative flame has died out... but I can't see how to drive a feature which will speak to my readers and bring more in eventually driving sales... One to work on for sure.

I will answer one of your questions. From observing and watching most of your videos. I will search for your name to watch. I find that I like your live presentations more. You've got your 3Fs in it. You give the facts, add feelings, and made it funny. Like a well packaged textbook that talks. 😂. It is very educational and enjoyable to watch. Your contents are to the point and easy to understand. You make something hard to teach, look easy, and made it easy to understand and remember. You articulate very well. I like it that you put detailed thoughts and intentions in your contents. I don't like video's of you interview other people because they don't have the same beliefs, charisma and contents as you. I go to your channel to watch you learn from you, not other people. It maybe just me, but I'm picky as to who i watch. If I wanted to watch them, I will go to their channel, which I prefer not to, because they have other intentions behind their actions. There's one video where you had an international artist on with the lanuage barrier it was hard to watch. I skipped to the end. Please keep doing live presentations. Or just start talking with a marker and whiteboard and record. It doesn't have to be 1 hour long, do 10 minutes each talk about the 3Fs and the SALES etc...😊
