The biggest takeaway for me on this video that really hit home was the concept of FOCUS. I have spent so much time trying to develop other business ideas that sound cool to me in theory, but that has taken time/effort/focus away from my current business that is making money with less effort. The "What Should I Be Doing" segment was amazing. I have a solid list of ideas in my head that I know would help me grow, scale, and become more successful. It's so simple, but makes so much sense. How has Hormozi provided you with "endless value"? The acquisition of repackaged, widely available information is not "endless value". Widely available information being repackaged is literally what 99% of colleges/courses teach but they charge you for it. I make it a point to listen to business videos for around 20-30 minutes a day as I'm exercising, so not exactly procrastinating. I have not bought any of his stuff since most of the information he has on YT is sufficient. One example of something I applied that he taught is doing the crappy tasks that we know we should do but we aren't doing bc we're chasing the new stuff, and applying that in my business has allowed me to streamline certain process/generate more $$ so yes believe it or not it has given me endless value bc those $$ will keep on compounding as my business lives on.

29:49 This video really drives the main point home: Focus on 1 thing long enough till it becomes a beast. I believe there are 2 things that can be added- 1. When choosing your 1 thing, make sure you choose the thing you really like and enjoy and not just factor profitability. Because, not only would it be a real tragedy to get good at the ‘wrong’ thing but a waste of all that grit, determination towards something that makes you miserable in long term. 2. Such periods of intense focus as talked about in video, if you think about it are really seasonal. At some point, you would have to branch even if its an addendum to accelerate the main thing. Take the example of Alex - he scaled his content game, started dominating different channels 1 by 1 in the last 2 years most probably to get leads for his main company (what gets seen, gets sold) - but in doing so he created a powerful personal brand, multiple streams of income from KZbin, book sales(even if small in comparison to his earnings at company but still sizeable) and what not.

But consistently over time I have observed the hardest decision to make is what you will not do vs what you will. Maybe it's the "uninformed optimism gene" in humans... Also, for me, I'm a veteran...I was taught never to give up, and never surrender. Most folks are drilled with this point as the secret to success... "just keep going"... and that works IF...IF, you are focused. Nice pitch Alex. Thanks for this video. Well done.

Since he has a big enough of team behind him, he can make all that info and just copy paste it to everyone. I'm sure there's more to the refund policy. Also most people won't go all the way for 1 year, forget about the refund (out of frustration or other things) and quit. There's also a chance that his team or himself personally will drag the time enough so the refund policy is not in place. Also the money he got right there can be invested, doubled (or even more) and returned (not to damage his image), which is most likely scenario of his plans. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but I do all the boring stuff in my business first. I was sleeping in the streets in Spain, moved to Ecuador and now am debt free and have my own properties, but it has been a hard slog and my twenties were basically a waste of time.

Watching this 3 times. Ordered an empty book to write out my first playbook. Goal, build a system of leverage which maximizes my output in order to create work that meets my standard effortlessly.

FOCUS on 1 thing only and dont multitask Boring is better and better is leverage Leverage always wins against effort Do it regardless rain or shine Difficult choices make the biggest money Be satisfied with th commitment rather than the outcome

Honestly amazing that we get this education for free. I’m calling this education and not “content” as this is straight up teaching me all I need to know to successfully launch my clothing brand after a full year of building the foundation. Blackened Heart Apparel 🖤

No way this video is all you need to know to successfully launch a clothing brand. Give a compliment but keep it real. Nevertheless, good luck with your business.
@NoSignOvLife Жыл бұрын
@@tristannn5913 maybe there is some slight generalisation however, I’ve been growing my brand for over a year now before pulling the trigger to open. As you can imagine a lot more information has been consumed than just this one video….. a lot of skills are transferable and so that is why this video of you watch the entire thing is very informative & helpful for all types of businesses. 😊

If you rely on this guy to teach you about running your clothing business then you're screwed before you start

Education/learning can come from "content" of all kinds. If you changed your behavior as a result then you learned something/educated yourself.

Testimonial: My wife is dense as a brick and won't listen to anyone, especially me. For 25 years, I have been trying. You got through to her in 10 minutes. I think she acctually gets it now. Thanks.

Unfortunately I work for someone else not myself. This really applies to those who already own their own business. It is very eye opening and encouraging. I am sick of working for someone else. I want to work for myself.
@imperatorscratchmataz Жыл бұрын
I think it can pretty much be applied from day 1 though. The only thing it doesn't teach is what business to do, although it basically showed that you can do anything and if you apply the principles it will work.
@eknoke018 ай бұрын
Well anyone knows you don’t get rich working for someone else. That’s not a new concept. But if it was that easy to be your own boss more people would be doing it.

This probably doesn't make sense in context to this but I stopped investing time into social media and art because it got super tiring. The algorithm wasn't doing much it actually slowed down my progression in numbers significantly, I realized "if I want to make a living from this way of art, I would need to get through this??? Ouch." Then I got informed about the changes in the algorithm and why it wasn't supporting me despite my barely changed activity, and it turned out that video content is rated higher and is recommended way more than just pictures. And then I crashed and burned as soon as I realized the despair of "I'm wasting my time! I don't think I can make it in art. I think I suck and I truly wasted most of my life on building a passion and a skill that ended up hurting me more than I wanted". I should totally go back to making art. I was so far more hesitant because of the AI "art" situation cuz ngl it scares me.
