I met him last year in San Fran I met Alexi henkka and Roope. They were all great nice guys, they didn't seem egomaniac at all. I got to talk to all of them several times before the show. i've met quite a few bands from finland and they usually keep to themselves and are very nice when it comes to their fans.

We did not blur out the ESP on the headstock, it may have happen from time to time becuase of DEPTH OF FIELD issues. In fct ESP uses this video and we have a great relationship with them so we would never intentionally blur it.

Wow now I study you guys more, you really give much information about the recordings! It's great that you guys can actually contact Alexi Laiho.. It's good that I don't have that priviledge because I would be bugging him all day long.. He is my very favorite guitarist, and I'm a HUGE bodom fan so the next DVD's will be definatly added to my other 2 from Rockhouse (Alexi Laiho).. I might add that I'd love to see some behind-the-scenes too, that should be fun to watch.. Just a suggestion..

Yes Alexi will be back here at rock house in a few months. Not sure if it will include Blooddrunk stuff. We may focus in more on his technique Alexi and John McCarthy are still working it out.

Oh, Ok here is what will happen, in January we will release a book DVD/CD combo featuring just Alexi lead technique. In January we will also shoot some new prodcucts i think Focused on Arpeggios. That will release some time march or april 2010.

Well guys, this is a good lesson if you know how to "hear it out yourself". If you can do that you don't need or necesarely want any note for note lesson.

It's a whole different skill to teach something as it is to doing it well. You can teach someone something even if you can't actually do it yourself. A good example are sports coaches.

ive been trying it on my guitar, and i THINK its a kind of "hammer-on natural harmonic" if that makes any sense... if u check out the related vids he has one on whammy bar: he always seems lowers the whammy first. Then with the strings loose, he taps the natural harmonic with his left hand and then raises the whammy bar. its stupid hard to do, but i wouldn't expect any less from alexi haha

uhhh love Alexi and all but he shouldn't definitely be making instructional lessons using his old songs. that would be a hell of a lot more effective than his new stuff. more complex and a harder challenge. his new stuff is good don't get me wrong but nothing tops COB's old stuff... it just DOESN'T
