As a Haitian that has dated African Americans in the past, I hate to say it but most often they’ve shown me cultural incompetence. They have no interest getting to know your culture or adapting to the customs. That’s just my personal experience

That grandmother is very unchristian-like. She’s judgmental and speaking negatively on a group of people that she knows nothing about. I thought Catholics and Christians serve the same God. The bride is very immature. She’s definitely an overgrown child. The groom needs to switch on the turbos and run swiftly!!

So I am a African-American and I wanted to say that the Haitian culture is not a wicked culture if anything it is one of the most beautiful cultures I have experienced when I did in my past partner. I will say it is very important to be spiritually yoked, and typically in most cultures. The man is the leader, so typically the woman would have to convert to the man at the end of the day is up to the couple to make that decision, but I do not want to shame, or allow Haitian culture to be disrespected in any way, shape or form.

It’s not wicked but heavily steeped in witchcraft. However there are places in the south that practice witchcraft as well. When you play in that, you always get burned no matter if you get what you want initially. Those demons will come back for what they feel is theirs.
