Wow Lex I don’t think you realize how much of a miracle you are. To come from such intense pain and become this stunning, empathetic, caring person while many people wouldn’t have survived that proves that high pressure and fire makes diamonds. I know you feel like you’re struggling and don’t have it all together because you’re still dealing with the side effects, but every day you wake up and show love to your kids, your hubby, and all of us online proves that you did it. You made it! And you’re still doing it! I wish you could see you like we see you. It’s like you won the Nobel Prize for life by coming from this and still being a wonderful mother, wife, sister, KZbinr, makeup artist, everythingggg. You could’ve let it turn you bitter but you didn’t. Omg u just said everything that I was gonna comment. God definitely seen her struggles and never left her side once. She's definitely becoming the woman and individual she was meant to be. She's highly blessed to have overcome all that she went thru and is still having to deal with in the after math. But also highly favored in the realization that as she gains insight and perspective with all the things wrong that happened to and with her, she still manages to put a smile on her face and wake up everyday to see her children and husband's faces and feeling the love from them surrounding her. I’m some sick way I think my mom blames me for what happen cuz she had mentioned once “no wonder why he didn’t touch me, she probably wanted it” I went fckn nuts on her this was the first time I had thought I was gonna beat my moms ass. So I seriously understand your frustration when it comes to your step dad.

Our parents aren’t perfect, yet we love them unconditionally even being hurt over and over and all we want is that love and nurturing and to feel protected like it’s not that hard.. I gotta keep reminding myself they did the best they could at that moment (I mean they could have gone above and beyond, but that only happens in movies)and if they were to pass I won’t have the guilt over my head for being ugly to them (two wrongs don’t make a right) I once read the lumberjack won't remember every tree he cut down, but that doesn't mean the tree didn't die (meaning that sometimes ppl forget they hurt ppl but the one being hurt doesn’t forget that pain) letting go of that pain and healing is a whole process of forgiving them not because they deserve it but because WE DESERVE IT, to heal and become better and to break generational curses.
