Rawloxlorin is the BEST hair! I’ve been wearing tape about 4 years and tried a lot. The hair stays in the tape and she sells a LARGE roll of replacing tape which last me about a year. And that’s re taping every 6-8 weeks 🤩🥳

Are you able to moisturize your scalp with tape in extensions? I have dry scalp so I’ve been on the fence about tape ins
@natnathutchins2 жыл бұрын
@@SheIsFearfullyWonderfullyMade YES! I will be honest. Moisturizing takes a bit more work. I buy the perfume rollers from Amazon and put my hair oil into them. I ONLY roll on my oil so it’s on my scalp and NOT my tapes. It’s good practice anyway as I have fine hair. So greasy hair so not a good look on me… lol i usually roll on at night before my shower a few nights a week. Just something about the heat from my shower cap that makes my heart 💜 smile 😊. Also I only wash my hair every two weeks. But I go to the salon for a silk press weekly. So I don’t have heat damage.

Hi Alexis-- watched both of your awesome install and maintenance tape-in videos! Did you happen to record and/or will you share the removal process? I'm considering the tape-in method but very curious and concerned about the removal process and any potential damage it may cause.

91% alcohol in a spray bottle. Slips right out. Then, hit your hair with any conditioner and comb out any left behind adhesive. Tape ins, if managed correctly, have been the least damaging to my own hair by far! I've done sew ins, braids, quick weave and clip ins. Tape ins are the winner by a landslide. 🤗

@@eatwithninab2631 And this the reason many black girls hair are damaged!!! I’m african-american and washing at least 1-2 times a week is very necessary for moisturized hair and promoting healthy hair growth. All the weaves and wigs are causing other black girls to only wash once a month!!!! That causes shedding eventually due to all the product buildup and not washing it out.

I don’t think it was an allergy, I used a clarifying shampoo which dried my scalp out sooo bad! 😖 So now I use a clarifying shampoo and a hydrating shampoo on top and I haven’t had any problems since🤍 the adhesive from the tape never touches my scalp and if your tape ins are on your scalp then they are applied wrong 🤍🤍
