When I was in kindergarten I asked mom how I was supposed to know who was a boy and who was a girl. She said to me "Boys have short hair and girls have long hair" and so, for the entirety of my childhood gender consisted in hair length to me. Hahaha so ADULTS having the same "definition" of gender as an actual 3 yo is terrifying.

# My first comment in KZbin Hi Alexis and Lilian, I'm Hooi Ching from Malaysia. In the past 26 years, I'm confused about my sexual orientation and fear of getting into a relationship with women (worry about others' judgement). Suddenly come to one day, i decided to understand more about lesbian and Google search pop up your video. After watching, I finally made up my mind to confirm that I am Bisexual (70% to women and 30% to man). I'm so excited to tell my best friend this best news and she answered me "nothing is more important than you being happy and blissful, regardless of what decision you made, i will always respect and support you!" What a heartwarming girl ❤ Thank you for making all these videos and really happy to see both of you staying together all these years! Wish you two always be in love and grow old together! I LOVE YOU! 😘 Stay safe and healthy 🙏 p/s: I'm a vegetarian since age of 21. I'm very touching to know you two are also vegetarian and practice environmental friendly life together. Cheers!

I feel like I was never real to myself about being a bisexual. From what I know I usually liked boys, and for a lot of time didn't even think about the possibility of me liking another girl. For some reason, in real life, still, I haven't found a girl(or how they define themselves) that I actually liked in a way that I had crushes on boys. But like i feel like now that I'm thinking about it there was a lot of girls that I've seen in shows, in KZbin that I found attractive. This feels like a silly paragraph but I feel like I can feel that I'm a bisexual I always did and this past two months kind of opened my eyes. I always thought that It was easier for me to like boys and if I couldn't find any girl that I really liked if I never had the experience how could I be a bisexual. But now I feel like maybe I just didn't let myself like a girl. I guess I just don't like to put myself in boxes and actually define myself as this and that, but while thinking all these I didn't realize I was actually on a very narrow perspective and putting myself in a box. Watching you guys have really changed my perspective and thank you for that a lot. I love you and I'm gonna trust my instincts. (hehhe this is the first time that I'm actually kind of saying this so this has been a looong comment sorry about that)

I can really relate to all of this. I questioned whether I was bi go 3-4 years (with a bunch of: do I find her attractive? What do attractions to guys feel compared to this?) I one day I realised I developed a crush on a girl. For a really long time I just concluded: well I'm probably not straight, or this wouldn't be on my mind so much so I'm probably bi. The confirmation after so long was really refreshing. Even know tho I don't really feel the need to define it because maybe I still haven't figured it all out. Sexuality isn't a clearly definable thing imo so it's ok to state ambiguous if that's what you're comfortable with. Qestioning is frustrating but as long as you are honest with yourself and don't try to force yourself to feel attractive to someone I think one day it'll settle itself - have a nice day and good luck!

Öykü İşman Theres also pressure on the Bi community to “pick a side”. Even people saying it jokingly harms the thinking that we have to. So we in turn question if we’re actually straight or a lesbian. I’ve been out for about two-three years and I’ve had that battle ever since. I’m only recently accepting that I don’t have to classify one way or the other because who I like changes all the time. There’s some times I’m just like damn I want a girlfriend and live out our cottagecore lifestyle haha then there are other times I’m like damn I just want “a fat one” 😂. But that’s the point of being Bi. You don’t have to choose a side. And whoever you choose to like more or less or equally is up to the individual. The Bierase struggle is real. I’m a writer, and I have a bi protagonist that’s around mostly women that like women in some capacity so her coming to terms with her sexuality while in a heterosexual relationship is hard. I’ve been struggling with if she should end up with the male love interest or one of the lesbian characters (who I didn’t think was going to be a love interest, it just unfolded that way). And I had a lot of heartache and struggle with the plot for feeling like I “had” to have her end up with the lesbian character because if not then there was no point in her being into women. It felt like I’d disappoint the lgbtq community. And it’s just not funny for people to joke about picking a side or making Bi people feel like they’re not part of the community if they’re in heterosexual relationships. Anyway I hope that helps 😂

I’m a straight guy who loves lesbians (not in the creepy pervy way) but in a human, lovely friendship kind of way. I may be the wrong man to ask about hating men because I’m not attracted to them cus more often than not I’m like... sigh... dudes... I can’t 😂. But honestly it’s a good point. It’s ignorant to hate anybody based on who you’re attracted to and in my experience lesbians don’t. I think it’s an insecurity and a misunderstanding of men.
@theartofflying35804 жыл бұрын
Hazeydaze22 I believe every word of it, I’ve seen it with my own eyes and heard it from men outside of the view of women (not just lesbians). You’re right that this absolutely sews mistrust and distance (as it well should). Unfortunate that this is the case but that’s only to say unfortunate that men do this, not that lesbians are forced to have this reaction. Any logical person would.

@@tshaolin971 in this day & age, we have every opportunity to have experience, get informed, dispel misconceptions, and eliminate harmful notions. The internet, videos like this, social media, is the perfect place to learn in order to do better. Having little exposure is a poor excuse to be ignorant (I’m not using ignorant as an insult here... harbouring fear and mistrust by extension based on not being educated about or lacking exposure to... is an ignorance). Also... I don’t exactly agree. I’ve never in my life met a person from Luxembourg but that doesn’t make me fearful. Logically, they’re no different from any population of people. They have a different history, different culture, may speak a bit differently but at the heart of it... they’re no different. People want safety, opportunity, equal treatment and opportunity. None of that is different. Years ago racists would say, I’ve never met a black person, it’s natural to be fearful. That’s not a great outlook to have or point to make.

8:16 I respectfully disagree, ideally the most important for lesbian couples is to have the same baby daddy for both. And vice versa for gay men with the same baby mamma.

Hey. I really love your channel and I hope you guys discuss how can you keep up with the long distance relationship. I met a girl throw instagram and I really like her and we like texting and FaceTime non stop. I never been in love before but with her I feel I’m falling but I’m scared that we lose interest about each other specially with the virus around the world and no one can travel maybe it takes long time to we can meet. And don’t how can be their for her and we are not together physically. I really appreciate your advices and your thinking. Big love 💗

As a straight person I have been asked some odd questions, your not alone. I think most straight people wonder if well she might have been sexually interfered with by a guy so no wonder she went the lesbian route. Or the other comment is well mabey her dad was a odd guy? Not in the picture as he travelled too much for work.

I wonder if those people who ask cluelessly "How do lesbians have sex?" have no issue imagining two MEN having sex? Perhaps, they cannot imagine sex WITHOUT penetration. Some cultures, in my opinion, have such RETRO concepts of what men and women should look like or what roles they should take. I find that to be the case in much of the Caribbean. Their mores about gender and gender roles seem to be what they used to be like in the USA during the 40s. One thing I'll have to comment on. "So who's the man?" You say you get that question a lot. Ever notice during a lesbian wedding almost always one of the women is dressed more like a "groom"? I've NOT seen a wedding between two men where one of the men was dressed like the "bride". Women have more "acceptable" options in terms of clothing. However, just saying!!! It's interesting how you address straight/men. Are A LOT of your viewers actually straight/men? That idea that lesbians have better sex than straight couples was something a HS friend had spouted to me. I don't know WHERE he got this information -- maybe his mom's issue of Cosmopolitan. Speaking of sex ed, I recently realized there was NO mention of the prostate gland during HS sex ed. I learned about this MUCH later and figured out A LOT of experiences all guys have ( like a piss -hardon) ONLY AFTER learning about the prostate.

Being great in bed is abt PAYING ATTENTION. Womxn(ok most Womxn) whether consciously or subconsciously give signals; sounds, body movement, facial expressions etc. If you pay attention to those signals, you can rock Her world which should (almost ALLways, lol) inspire Her to rock yours. Trust me, this really works. I've had more sex than 'Shane', guess I figured a lot by now, lol. Look, there are a lot of different types of sex; making love, quickie, hard/raw, vanilla and so on but bottom line; BOTH of you should be smiling n feeling great after (even if you're crying cuz, let's face it, sometimes the 'sex' is soo intense it brings the tears). Go have fun, be WILD, be courageous, be SAFE and BE ATTENTIVE. Many Blessings Alexis n Lillian. Love that your channel isn't a 'shade fest'. It cane up on my feed n I decided to watch. You two are very real n not just spewing whatever shallow views are 'in', 'cool' or popular for the sake of higher viewership. Thank you.

I've been getting lots of criticism from my more radical leftie friends saying I couldn't identify as a lesbian because I used to do sex work. So yeah, but at least I got through graduate school & have no student debt. Lol. So, what do I say now? I'm sick of all the shit I get. Bisexual doesn't quite sit right because I've dated a couple of post op trans-women who identify as lesbians. So, pansexual? I'm just fucking sick & tired of the sexual identity police giving me shit about my preferences & sexuality. Crap, when did the LGBTQ community get so deep into cancel culture & so damned critical of how women identify? Gay men don't get this kinda cancel culture clap back. Seems awfully like they wanna redefine & police the "L" part of LGBT. Sorry for venting but I'm really sick of the BS happening in the nastiness of the progressive LGBTQ movent.

Out of all the letters on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, I'm both L and T. I've yet to get the "You must hate men" or "You don't look like a lesbian" lines from anybody. I have, however, had one aunt tell me she never saw signs of me being trans. She and another aunt both said they always thought I was "100% male", whatever the hell that is. I was NEVER a "100% male". I was always a woman, just misidentified at birth. And only for the past 11 months have I had the right hormones in my body. I've also had some people claim that I was straight with extra steps. That's not how this stuff works.
