Fully support. I feel this. I went rustic cabin "camping" a few weeks ago with full intention of making a video. When I got there, I just didn't want to run the camera. YT is not my full time job, so I changed plans and *just went camping, you know, for *fun. It was awesome and relatively relaxing. For those of us that have never made a dime off making content… I support you 100% and this is what I strive to keep. I simply record my adventures and want to immortalize them in way that’s fun to watch… if people come along then I’m happy. If not, I’m happy. What I never want to do is be a slave to putting stuff out just to put it out… I want to enjoy the trip, and feel the inspiration to shoot. There are plenty of trips I’ve brought my camera and not shot because I either have already done video too similar, or I just wasn’t feeling it. And let’s all address the elephant in the outdoor YT space: I never want to do cringey thumbnails, no fake shots I have to go back and get the camera I passed, just capturing what I think will be interesting to watch as it happens. Anyway. Good on you and stay true. You’ll end up on top 🤙🏽
