As a younger person that is involved in this community (17) I honestly think its beneficial to see the whole relationship with Nader and Chantal. And also to hear the opinions of others on the situation. It has really taught me about how manipulative people can be and how to not fall for it and let myself be treated the way Nadar treats Chantal. It makes me really sad about the whole situation but I am thankful that I am able to learn from it.

Be irate that dog pounds are always the first programs to fund cut in cities, volunteer with your local society's program, adopt your own pet and never reschedule appointments, but realize leaving nasty comments about one cat owner suspending one vet appointment is not about helping a cat at all.

Alex I'm sorry to hear about what happened your cat. Mine too. He was 15. Lost some weight and threw up after eating....not all the time but his stomach was upset. When I took him to the vet it was too late also. She's going to turn into an event about views if something happens to her poor cat. I hope BBJ is OK. Both BBJ and Sam are so beautiful and loving towards her. She has no idea how lucky she is. I miss my cat so much, I still cry over him everyday and it's been almost 5 months.

It happens quickly doesn't it. A few years ago my 17 year old cat lost weight and had a little leakage from his bottom, I had him at the vets within days where they diagnosed him with stomach cancer which although the symptoms were new it had developed too much and I had to make the choice to have him put to sleep. He was an absolutely beautiful cat.

However, I think with the right education, and the right people calling out this behaviour then we can only hope that young girls listen. Because what are we meant to do? As an 18 year old, I understand that I’m old enough to understand what I’m seeing (compared to younger women). However, as someone who’s watching through reaction channels and seeing the backlash she gets in her own member chat, I couldn’t imagine doing this to myself for money. It doesn’t seem romanticized at all, because although she might be trying to romanticize it, she’s also delusional and the bleak reality shines through in her chat, in reaction channels like Alex, and in her walk-of-shame rages where she denounces him and talks about how abusive he is. It’s hard not to see how horrible this situation is, it’s hard to avoid frustration or anger towards her, it’s harder and harder to feel sympathy for her. Maybe I’m overestimating young women (though I don’t think I am), but in following this saga it’s hard to see any positives besides perhaps the money which she can get in more positive ways (doing fun stuff and going out for her beezers)

Personally, and by no means do I think this is right or healthy, I think it’s both. I think she does all this stuff for him because she genuinely cares about him and then when he walks her like a dog she resents him because she doesn’t understand why he could be so abusive when she’s “bought” his love.
