Why don't you try a Surker or Kemei from Amazon? I've heard they are quite decent for $20-30. And with a Wahl blade, they are close to Wahls (and cordless!). They're the best bang for your buck.

I grabbed the magic clips. Man them things are crispy. Been cutting my hair since March. Getting better and better. Love saving my 60-80$ a month.

Try chinese clippers like kemei, can be interesting, even barbers says they are decent.

I have one over a year. It's $13 rechargeable Pro Gemei GM-595 3 in 1 set (Shaver, Hair clipper and Nose trimmer) and still works good.

Use trimmer only on back to the neck. I went many times in some barbershops and they cut my hair short with clippers and it wasn’t looking ok

Better go to a good barber and tell how you want to cut. With scissors a gradual medium or longer hairstyle is great
