The part I laugh so hard at in this movie is when Clubber was ask if he was going to accept Rockys challenge and he replys "I REJECT HIS CHALLENGE, CAUSE BALBOA IS NO CHALLENGE." 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I know most people probably hated Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago, but I always liked them. I couldn't stand Rocky or real life boxers like Mike Tyson because they both sounded really ignorant when they spoke and I always had the impression Tyson was a very abusive/violent person irl with very little empathy. That's why I always really liked Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee growing up.

This definitely reminds me of Rocky and Apollo just switched around with Rocky adopting Creed style in speed, foot work and precision. Clubber is basically Rocky being that brute force with power in his hands with durability in taking punishment. The ring also looks exactly the same as the first movie just different color.

It was so awesome to see Apollo join Rocky’s side and see the former rivals become friends. Apollo was really smart and put a lot of effort into the way he trained Rocky for this rematch. He knew that power wise, Rocky couldn’t beat Clubber, thus why Mickey strongly advised against Rocky standing toe-to-toe with the younger and stronger Lang. Watching the first Clubber fight back with Duke, Apollo realized that Rocky would only have enough stamina to last about 7 or 8 rounds, bringing the former champ and his trainer to the conclusion that “we’ve got to put him (Lang) away early.” Apollo taught Rocky his own fighting style and technique, which was exactly the key to reclaiming the title. Rest in Peace Apollo/Carl Weathers, the master of disaster and prince of punch 🥊🥊🥊
